the ones in middle east that watching tv now and see American celebrating outside the white house or in time square..feel the same feeling you American felt seeing people in middle east celebrating of what happen in 9-11..
they feel hate and want revenge....

Correct, someone above said people can sleep a little easier tonight. Well I feel the opposite, it now scares me to think what they might plan or already have planed as retaliation. I'm sure right now they are sitting in their cave or mansion or what not, watching the tape labelled "in the event of my death or capture watch this tape, love bin laden"

ok,im not American for sure feel different about the whole, cos my country didnt get this type of terrorism..
    we have different ones here,anyway..
you cant control feeling,i understand exactly how Americans feel today..celebrating about a death of this evil man..and i find it human..you do as you feel..
watching on tv what happen at 9-11 i feel so so sad about it..innocent people die cos crazy fuckers took airplanes to the towers..must be the worst thing i ever watch people jumbing of the towers for not burn Alive

in Greek tv at news the tittle is "Historical day for America and Americans celebrating tonight"
its normal to feel this way..i understand..sure nothing will bring back those died that day but people feel happy and that justice is served..
i would like to see bill landen get caught, put him in trial and make them told us,who give him money all this years, who help me hiding, why they couldnt find him all this years...
but the more sad in the whole thing is that wars and terrorism didnt die tonight.....

You just called Bin laden "Bill Landen"

This is a huge step in ending the War on Terrorism. I don't care what anyone thinks. Arresting a burglar, or giving a rapist the death penalty sure won't stop burglary or rape.. but it gives closure knowing that justice will be served.

You just fully contradicted yourself there. I'm afraid this is not even close to the end, like I said above, I fear this may lead to another attack of epic proportion.

Well, now Abdallah Osama bin Laden, Saad bin Laden, Omar Osama bin Laden, Mohammad bin Osama bin Laden, Hamza bin Laden dont have a father.

The difference is that their father orchestrated the death of thousands of innocent people.

more American soldiers has died in this war against Talibans than Americans in 9/11. Maybe youre leaders isnt that good at all?

It's called a fucking war. Sorry that we aren't liked by many, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world.

No soldiers deed goes unappreciated, at least not to me.

Go run along now. Don't you dare put a fucking damper on this night for me, every other NY'er and American citizen.

The reason we went there was to get bin Laden. Had 9/11 not happened we wouldn't have been in Afghanistan. Personally I'm going to chalk all those deaths up to bin Laden also. He didn't directly cause them, but it was caused by the 9/11 attacks. Unless we were supposed to sit around and just chalk 9/11 up to bad luck and do nothing about it.

Tonight was much needed for the spirits of this country.

Please don't speak for the country, because it wasn't needed for my spirits. If I died in 9/11, I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone calling for war in my name, seeking vengeance on my behalf, or dancing or cheering in the street when someone was killed saying justice for my death has been served.

Would your mother/father ... son/daughter ... wife/husband ... would they feel the same way after "you died in 9/11"?

edit - or, would you feel the same if you lost someone, were left here while they were murdered?

I admit, the dancing on the street is a little creepy, (note, most of those folks appear to be college kids looking for a reason to party). But, some people, this may be closure after losing someone, and I don't understand how folks can fault them.

They would know that I wouldn't want a war started using my death as a justification for it. They would know that I wouldn't want anyone killed in my name or revenge sought. If they wanted revenge, it wouldn't be in my name, it would be from their own belief system. Too many people in the last 10 years are trying to speak for the dead.

I love how people are saying "oh, I'm worried this may be lead to another attack". Where? Buttfuck Iowa? Bend Over Sweden? No New York. And here in the Tri-State area we're dancing in the streets (pun intended) because THE major terrorist has been wiped from this earth after far too long. We're well aware that another attack will probably happen, but we go to work, go to visit friends and family, go to (PJ?) concerts etc...anyway. Because that's how freedom works. Some places aren't worth attacking to these maniacs. So if you feel the need to comment from Buttfuck Sweden, exercise the other need you should've felt to shut the fuck up!

And all those other bin ladens you mentioned that don't have a father, don't add up to a molecule of courage, bravery and overall worth that Michael Roberts (http://www.nyc.gov/html/fdny/html/memor ... d035.shtml) and all his FDNY brothers, first responders and Allied Forces had.

Why_Not Sweden? I know you're just pushing buttons and I fell for it. However you can go suck a dick until you know the pain that we felt that day. Now that the US has taken out this maniac, Sweden and places around the world won't be a victim of an attack by this scumbag ever again. And you'll have the USA to thank for that, so suck a dick and good night, your credibility is that of bin laden, bloody, dead and shot in the head.

And to my fellow Americans and freedom loving friends from around the world, this is a great day for freedom!!!!!!!!

I hear you. I can be somewhat forgiving though, it's basically 10 years of frustration coming out all at once. The person who masterminded the worst attack in our history eluded capture/kill for 10 years and people were pretty mad about that, and he kept putting out videos to rub the salt in the wound. I saw a guy with a Hulkimaniac shirt pouring beer over his own head and screaming in happiness, and I myself did think that maybe a little more thought/respect should be shown towards the reason we were after him in the first place, but I guess it's just a release of that frustration.

I'm not saying anyone "should" feel a certain way. I'm giving my take on what I'm seeing and reading. My quote at the top was about the other post with chest thumping and lack of respect. This is an image of Americans that turns people from other countries off. If someone's excited, go ahead and jump around. Feel whatever you want. I don't excited about death.

Cool story, bro. But put the word "conspiracy" behind it and it'll scare anyone off.
Anyway, I wasn't saying that the opinion stated in either documentary was right or wrong. I just meant that, after watching them, it's difficult to think of 9/11 the same.
