But, but, but.....he didn't get the right to a fair trial. Innocent until proven guilty right?
His killing was barbaric wasn't it?

If you remember my thread about the child sex offender the other day you will know what I am on about....

please man, grow up. many of us have said we wanted him to face trial but that was not going to happen. he would not allow himself to be taken alive. it was a military action, he participated in a gunfight so this was the only way.

i am sorry, but comparing osama bin laden to a child sex offender is a stretch....and mocking those of us that believe in the rule of law is not accomplishing anything.

People can debate capital punishment and death penalty on here.. it's all good opinion... (and i mean that)

if I knew or had a loved one killed on 9/11... I would have wanted to be the one to pull the trigger on bin Laden.

Maybe it's barbaric... but it's how I feel.

i saw one earlier posted on facebook but it did not look like it was real. like there was some good photoshop work done. the guy's beard was as black as that pitcher on the giants...i think i will reserve judgement until we get official photos.

they just said he was buried at sea in accordance with muslim customs. it was crucial that we got that part right and not messed that up...

so fake, you can see that a photo of the bottom half of bin laden face has been pasted on the top halve of some dead dudes head, the skin tones don't even match.

    so fake:

yeah he could have, but you can't double DNA, which the yanks say has been tested and it's a match. i guess, there would have to be some more indepth testing going on, but they wouldn't come out with this news on looks alone.

i don't think they are sitting around saying "well the dude had beard some it must be osama"

i wasn't joking about that. i can just imagine some insensitive low level american soldier doing something careless to the body. if word got out that we had violated his body that would have inflamed and agitated his followers even more. i think it is important that we show the muslim world that we respected islamic customs and traditions in this case.

    where did you here that?

there is no way they have done anything with the body yet in the way of disposing it. they will be doing test on this thing for weeks to prove to the world and the Muslim community it is who they say it is.

This is by no means the end of it. Sure it's great you guys got him, but I think this is gonna start a whole new shit storm. This is gonna be like poking a hornets nest with a big stick. His followers and supporters are gonna want revenge, and I think this is gonna stir up a whole lot of unrest in the middle east. just cause the figure head is dead doest mean it's over. I'm sure he had a shit load of plans in place for if and when he was captured or killed.

I by no means fell safer in a world without Osama at the moment. If anything this is kinda scary.

He's dead. And anyone who tries to do anything will end up dead. Sure, they may try... but, they will die eventually.

I am not an Obama fan, but I'm very happy right now. I would love to spit on his dead face. He killed my friends/countrymen for no reason.
We're all happy but there is no way that this will be the end of it.

Yes, he's dead. Yes, anybody who tries to do anything will end up dead. The point is that they are already prepared for that, these people will die for their beliefs. They were prepared to die for him when he was alive so they'll be even more prepared to die for him now that he is dead as they will see him as a martyr.
