I remember once when I was in LA, Mark Cuban was trying to get him to be a Mavericks fan. This was back in 2008.

I wish that Howard to NJ trade would've went through. I can deal with losing Gerald Wallace for 4 1st round pics!

I love the guy, but he won't be a Blazer in 2 years and after the last week that we've had. I'd say a rebuild centered around LaMarcus and Batum is just fine, especially with a good 2012 class and free agents a plenty.

Yeah, I would definitely give up Wallace for 4 1st round picks too. LaMarcus is a great piece to center the rebuild around.

Also, I'm still bitter that we didn't off Wesley Matthews an offer sheet and Portland picked him up. Luckily, I've always liked the Blazers franchise.... even during the days of Sheed, Z-Bo and the rest of the Jail-Blazers.

Mark Lanegan is a die-hard Clipper fan... which baffles me because in his making of music, he has excellent taste...

Rose soudns excited to have him on board....a tall two guard that can shoot, and to a lesser extent, create his own shot as well as play avg defense. should be a good addition...just hope he leaves that damn mask behind.

    can't wait for friday...

presale tommorrow...hopefully we can get solid mavs tickets

Majorly. They should start working on how they're going to get Paul to sign an extension NOW. They basically just gave up too much to rent Paul for 2 years.

So The Clips now have 4 relevant players in:

    Caron Butler
    Chris Paul
    Chauncey Billups
    Blake Griffin

How long can they keep that core together? Can Vinny make them successful? Maybe this year will be the third winning season for them since they moved to LA?

Should be fun to watch this team...

gotta be regretting picking up billups now ...

can't believe the clips gave up gordon and a likely top 3 pick next year in one of the deepest drafts ... seems fishy to me ...

i heard that paul was willing to exercise his option for 2013 upon a trade ... is he gonna do that or is he gonna just play the year out and leave the clips in shambles? ...

is agreed to not opt out of his contral at the end of this season...giving the clips two years of service...after that i think it all depends on how much winning is being done...or if he wants to punk out and go the lebron route.

I don't follow NBA or really know anything about it apart from the famous guys who play for the Lakers and the odd Boston Celtic player. I did watch their playoffs or whatever it was a few years back.

However basketball is a great sport to watch at the NBA level. I'm going to my friends in DC for New Years week and we are gonna see the Celtics vs Wizards. Should be fun!

well ... that's fair i think ... FA is part of all major sports ... he should be able to go wherever he wants ...
