It was the 2008 All-Star Game:
Here's a critical view that can be tied back to MJ thus allowing this discussion to continue

there's probably a good chance it WAS a hangover but I don't see anything about the whole "stomach pumping" thing.

on a related note, here's your new way to call in sick - "can't make it today, Boss. I have flu-like symptoms."

the stomach pump was in reference to him being taken out of the hotel in a stretcher. he had no chance on that trip btw. he was 20, definitely not pitching because he had thrown the day before, and stuck in a hotel with his teammates. big time timmy jim indeed.

now back to the fabulous idea of lebron jumping over javale mcghee tomorrow night!

The answer is...YOU ARE A BLAZER FAN! Wear the Blazer jersey with pride!

If Seattle gets a team again, they will be the Sonics with the Sonics colors. The city retained them in that bogus deal.

AND anyone that considers themselves a Sonics fan cannot consider themselves a Thunder fan. If you do, you're just as bogus as that deal was. It's not Seattle's team. Sorry.
Oh I know, I was just throwing it out there ;)

My friend and I were having a discussion about favorite baseball teams when Portland was close to getting the Marlins or the Nationals. He said we'd both have to not cheer for our favorite baseball team anymore if Portland got a team.

I agree, but it would be weird after all these years to cheer for another team as your favorite.

I've thought about if I ever move from Utah, I would want to move somewhere with some sports teams... but particularly an NBA team, it'd be impossible for me to get them to level that the Jazz are for me.

I think that's what comes with growing up with a team (and in my case with the Jazz, during their golden era) in your hometown.

I do wish Utah had some more major league teams though.

Yes he is. One of the best shooters the game has seen. He's also a respectable guy too.

Of course, in a game where the odds of us winning suck. It always seems that the Jazz are playing on ESPN in games where they have clsoe to no chance of winning, which just adds to the collective under-appreciation of our franchise.

So is the NBA on ESPN, I guess.

That being said, I love OKC and hope they win a title this year. Durant is an incredible ball player. It's too bad their success isn't happenin in Sonic uniforms though. :(
