I feel the same way about Hot Rod Hundley on KJZZ calling Jazz games. Hearing Rod call those games with classic lines like:

    "Stock yo-yo's out.."

    "______ from the parking lot!"

    "Karl Malone, hammer dunk!!"

    "You gotta love it baby"

    "Stockton to Malone!"

Now we have Matt Harpring who talks about fry-sauce and signage.

One of the worst things about living in Utah (Besides always having to watch Broncos games as the local team on Sunday) was having to endure Hot Rod Hundley and Ron Boone. Hot Rod was senile!

Small strides 81. We're still gunning for you in the playoffs. Also, kudos to Paul Pierce for passing Larry as the #2 alltime scorer. There's no way he catches Hondo for #1, but a great accomplishment anyway.

The senility is what made him awesome.

Rod and Boone weren't too bad. I heard the Grizzlies and Pacers local announcers on NBATV... I'm glad I don't live have to endure those guys on Utah's local games... they'd put me to sleep.

I believe I remember hearing in the Sonicsgate film that Clay Bennett claimed that if a team re-emerged in Seattle that they would "share" the franchise history, which seems bogus to me.

By that logic, if it's the Kings that re-locate, does the new Seattle team "share" their history too? That would be a lot of sharing, and in that case I would like the Jazz to share the 97 and 98 titles with the Bulls.

The answer is...YOU ARE A BLAZER FAN! Wear the Blazer jersey with pride!

If Seattle gets a team again, they will be the Sonics with the Sonics colors. The city retained them in that bogus deal.

AND anyone that considers themselves a Sonics fan cannot consider themselves a Thunder fan. If you do, you're just as bogus as that deal was. It's not Seattle's team. Sorry.
