Rose with the first half double double.

Asik might have the assist of the night on his "Magic Johnson" dish.

It was weird how Griffin was passive against the Turkish guy but more aggressive against Noah, who is the better defender.

    Noah wore him out. ;)

Asik is a solid defender tho.

But seriously, you would think they could come up with more than one play. maybe start with something simple, like Blake in the post before going to some more complex princeton plays.

  • I'll take your word for it, though just the idea of going more at a less experienced player would seem to make sense. Also Griffin's 15-foot game still needs some work.

Of course you attack the back ups with your starters and Noah is the better defender, but you have Vinny coaching the clips. he's not been impressive in his 3 years as a head coach.

he's got one play and doesn't know when to call time outs.

i still can't wrap my head around the time out with 4:34 left in the 3rd. clips were playing well....game was in a slug fest back and forth half court game and ol vinny comes thru with an oddly timed TO.

maybe they look better with Billups in teh back court, because they were not any where close to deserving the hype that they have gotten so far.

i think there were more Bulls fans than Clips fans at the game as well....with the MVP chants

yeah yeah...congrats. sixers played like shit down the stretch. that's a bad loss for a team that can't afford many of those especially with a back to back game tonight.

what do you guys think of kanter? i think he can be a stud in this league. might take a while though...

Sorry. A little too quick with the submit button...but I will gladly turn in my basketball man card. I'm 5'8", white and played hockey. Basketball just didn't agree with me.

I agree with you on both accounts. Couple of seasons of frustration from getting shut down and learning to toughen up and be known under the basket and he'll be a whole new player. The kid has a lot of potential.

and we probably will for a couple of seasons... we're stacked with young talent. The one thing Utah has on their side right now is time. I think we'll be a top 8 team again in 3 seasons.

Having said that, how long do we let Corbin increase his losing record with Utah? :? New coach next year?

Much needed win last night against New Orleans for Utah.. Between last night and Feb 1, they have 11 home games and 4 road games. Utah needs to make good on all the home court advantage and win some fucking games, damnit!

it's like chuck said - team has no half court offense ... all isolation plays ... i watched the first quarter last nite and it was ugly ... decided to go see mission impossible instead ...

    they got the lob play.

joe johnson is over rated...or at least way over paid.

    they have no heart

but how the hell do you beat miami a couple of days ago, then lose to them with lebron and wade on the sidelines. makes zero sense.

jj is definitely overpaid ... probably the worst contract in basketball now ... they need to play tmac more ... atlanta also beat miami on the second night of a back to back for the heat ... hawks were fresh ...

if you can't beat miami without lebron and wade....with as much talent as the hawks have on the roster...it's time to make a change.

not sure how much tracey played last night, but he did bang his knee vs. the bulls a couple of nights ago.

well demarcus cousins got his first coach fired this week:

    http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/ ... -as-coach/

westphal clearly should have handled this better but cousins' is such a punk. i'm glad the sixers didn't draft his immature ass last year.
