i don't think it would be great to lose a season....

i like watching basketball and watching D. Rose come into his prime.

yeah ... if i was a bulls fan ... not a great time to miss a year ... as boozer is just getting slower by the minute ...

but i'm a raptors fan so - all we were gonna do this year what are odds were for next year's lottery ...

still tho, this lockout/strike every few years is pathetic ... and it's hard watching these guys bicker while they all make millions while at the same time many people can't get a job ...

let us not forget who really loses if the season is canceled...the people who work at the games

    D. Rose is a beast. being a sixers fan I would like for the season to happen cus we need to get some of our young guys a little more experienced

for sure ... but the whole thing is messed up ... tickets are soo expensive now so that we can pay for salaries that are inflated ... it's become perverse ...

there's also the bars and restaurants - i get that ... but it still doesn't take away from how messed up the whole thing is ...

I love hoop, but oddly enough I'm not missing it right now. At All. I spend too much time as a spectator as it is and If I spend anymore time staring at some two dimensional monitor watching other athletes play I'm going to toss my cookies...but thats just me. Although I'm very much looking forward to how that whole Golden State experiment will, uh, pan-out. But again, no hurry, If they laceup by January I'm good..

And shit, I'll be in Europe this winter to do some skiing and stuff. Maybe If I dont have to lift a finger, and it works out right, I can catch Kobe or D-Will, Pau or some other Americans playing Euro ball in between carving turns down the Alps..

deal will get done ... the owners have moved off the hard cap ... their revenue splits is min 49 cap at 51 and the players have countered with 51 to 53 ... it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to see that 50 - 52 will get it done ... i think the owners want to get to the point where the players start missing paychecks to see if they can break them ...

Once the players start missing paychecks, this will get resolved quickly.

This entire thing is ridiculous. Talk about losing momentum after one of the most exciting and succcessful NBA seasons since the 90s. What a joke.

Yea..i could care less. Realized quickly after jordan retired that I was a jordan fan and not really a basketball fan. The brand of basketball these days is brutal..

The season is far too long and they could use the break come back and play 50 games every other day. Just tonight my fiancé on a flight from PHX-Dallas got an autograph/note from dirk Novitski for our son. He was really nice to her after drank up the courage to ask him....his girlfriend though did want to know who was this chick in first class doing on her knees. :o

I won't miss the NBA....I do hope they comeback and play the window for the CELTICS is closing fast.

    Peace

with each day of the lockout, the sixers get closer to becoming real contenders

yeah i've been saying for a while that 50 game season in '99 was great. whole season was a sprint to the finish. hopefully this one plays out like that...
