3.35 yesterday afternoon, we'll see how much more it went up today before I go to work this afternoon.

Not looking forward to filling up my big ol Chevy pickup truck for the forseeable future. 40 miles each way to work. Gonna be an expensive summer  :x

Well if the USA (i'm from NY btw) wants to give health insurance to every American and increase unemployment benefits then it may have to tax gas like Ireland does.

gas prices are a 'regular news bit' on the morning news....last time I checked, $3.89 they predict $4.50 by Memorial Day....now I see neily's 'memorial day thread' as more of a 'Gas is Getting More and More Expensive Every Day thread'

Yup, at the station near where I live it's $4.29. This is why I get gas in the suburbs...just drive 5-10 miles away and it's at least 20 cents cheaper.

I paid $3.63 yesterday. I filled the 1.5 gallon fuel container I use for my lawnmower and topped off my tank with about 5 gallons and it was like $20. Ridiculous.

It's costing me $40+ now to fill up my two door Civic. I can't imagine having something with shitty gas mileage. Prices were in the $1 to $1.50 range when I had my Jeep ten years ago.

my average fill up is about 18.5 gallons, which at 4.09 works out to be $75. I've had $80 tanks before.

if i don't screw around much on the weekends i can go three weeks. however, two weeks is the norm.

overall i get 23.5 mpg, although in the summer, it's closer to 25.

Stealing plutonium from the Libyans would definitely be more exciting than getting raped at the gas pump.

I can stretch a full tank jsut about two weeks... depending on errands I have to run. But, if I want to go hang out with friends, go do shit with the old lady, that two week margin shrinks.

Seriously man, to hell with gasoline. Going to start riding my bike next week.
