    HAMILTON - COPPS COLISEUM!!!

    I'll check in with my source at HECFI this week and find out if there is any chance that Hamilton gets a show at Copps.

    Remind me what happened to the North Stars?...oh ya they moved to Dallas....we'll have a team back next year...also having seen PJ play in Winnipeg and in St Paul I have to say the crowd in Winnipeg was a million times better

    we have less than a quarter of the population that the twin cities has
    our nhl team only left cause gary bettman dream of hockey in the southern states

    If Pearl Jam played @ Massey Hall the place will come crashing down right after the first drum beat by Matt. I mean literally the place will crumble. The whole upstairs balcony would come falling down & the roof blown off & flown away to the left & smashed right beside the Eaton Centre.

    So yeah, please play Massey Hall. The 2 Ed show's I seen there back in '08 were amazing. PJ playing there would be mind blowing!

    We've got a beautiful 5,000 seater at our Casino here in Windsor......would be awesome but the Hip usually end up playing a few shows at the Fillmore in downtown Detroit instead when they come around here......i've seen the Hip a few times in Toledo as well, i think one time was at the Toledo Zoo :lol:

    This post is so full of epic fail its not even funny. First, The North Stars left b/c they had an owner who was going to move no matter what the fans, state or city did. Secondly, you say Winnipeg will get a team back next year? Doubtful. Minnesota got their team back over 9 years ago. Yeah, and until this year they held the record for most consecutive sellouts, have crazy fans and are known as the best hockey state in the US.

    we have an owner ready for a team who is worth 20 billion...Im pretty sure we can handle a team now...maybe you should do your homework before you start insulting someones city...

    Ha! Only a tour rumour thread in Canada would get railroaded by hockey talk! I love it. At least it bumps it up. I am crossing my fingers for you Winnipeg...both in terms of a concert date and NHL team.

    Let's hope that where there is smoke there is fire and we get multiple dates across the great white north.

    Show me where I insulted Winnipeg in my post? NOWHERE, that is where. I was simply saying Minnesota is a crazy hockey state. If anything you are the only one insulting peoples cities here. Also, I am pretty clear on the situation in Winnipeg. I would LOVE to see a team there. It's not about handling a team, it doesn't matter how much money you have, just ask Jim Balsielle. He has billions too, and he has no luck getting a team, he has been railroaded twice. You know why? The NHL is not interested in A) Expanding or B) Moving any of the teams they have now. Winnipeg wont get a team until they build an NHL ready arena. The same reason why they lost the Jets. I don't think an NHL arena can be built in 6 months.
