Right before we started this tour, I went to the doctor cause certain things didn't feel quite proper... He did a couple little things and put his fingers on my body, not in it... The results came back and he said: "Apparently you have some heavy metal in your bloodstream, and it might've gone into your brain"... I said: "Excuse me doc, I think you got me confused as Mike McCready"... Seriously, he was watching Iron Maiden for an hour and a half before he walked out here... Or Scorpions?... The doctor said: "The only way to get rid of this is to listen to Perry Como, Yanni, and someone named Michael Buble or something"... So, this is more of a pretty song but he's still playing it on a very metal guitar so... ~ Eddie Vedder

Having adored the first boot from the South America 2015 tour, Santiago, my hopes were high for the next boot, Buenos Aires 2015. Simply put, the BA 15 bootleg is a letdown in my view. I listened to about 11 of the songs. To be specific, the first 4 songs (sloppiest version of Low Light I’ve heard), All Night, Swallowed Whole, Grievance, Immortality, Life Wasted, Red Mosquito, and Indifference. That’s 33% of the bootleg. Out of the 11 songs I listened to, I found essentially all of them to be a very sloppy and weak performance from the entire band. Ed’s vocals did not sound anywhere near as strong, many forgotten lyrics, and the rest of the band had many ropey moments. I know being there in that incredible energy of the BA crowd had to be awesome; no doubt it would have been a blast. However, it doesn’t translate well on this boot. Even the crowd is nowhere near as loud on this recording as they were on the Santiago recording. I’ve read that the BA crowd was louder, so it’s probably the mix. Regardless, I bet it was a great gig to be in person but it’s simply a weak and sloppy bootleg to my ears. Again, it’s merely my observation of the recording.

The worst part was towards the end if I recall, Ed forgot a chunk of the lyrics and the note at the end was very flat. Jeff also had a weird moment in the first verse, like he went to transition too early. Again, it just took me by surprise how different the band sounded from Santiago to BA on boot. Would have loved to have been at both regardless

Have the Vic Vault jamming in my car at the moment. Still the very best versions of In Hiding and All Or None I have heard as of yet.
Man, I really couldn't be happier with the Vault series.
We should be glad that they do it and with the shows they have released thus far. It's great that the band is choosing which shows they release (which I'm sure boils down to Ed and Jeff's decision). I have subtlely complained that Vault #4 was a weak choice because we already have all of the other 2000 tour boots, but so far the releases have provided excellent variety, however, we really need a No Code tour show next (i.e. Randall's Island '96).
I think the next Vault release should be Randall's Island 2 1996 or one of the Red Rocks shows from 1995.

melbourne 3/5/98 did any other good recordings surface for the 98 kiwi/oz tour?
I thought the second Sydney show sounded good
After reading your comment, I'm listening to second Sydney concert. Sound is better than I remember. It was great to hear Stone sing Mankind, the trippy Daughter into Push me pull me, The start of Beds are Burning into Corduroy and of course Smile.

Cool show for sure! They should mix up the tags a little more like they used to back then.

I listen to Oslo, Norway, 2014 the other night and thought that was really GOOD!
