"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
A relentless opening trio of MFC, Habit (the drumming towards the end is superb) and Corduroy backed up by Breakerfall, God's Dice and Animal. Nothing As It Seems and Dissident drop the tempo and interrupt the flow to a degree. The run of Even Flow/Given To Fly/Wishlist/Alive is excellent. The latter half of the main set falls away I think, Once being the highlight really. The improv played before Rearviewmirror is quality, Ed singing about the moon. It's about 3 minutes long. Rearviewmirror closes the main set.
It's another show with just 1 encore that starts beautifully with Black. Light Years is another that is fantastic. Small Town and Leaving Here follow, making it a fairly strange encore. Yellow Ledbetter closes the show.
Up until Leatherman I couldn't fault this boot.

Corduroy starts off the shortest show of the tour and is simply fantastic. They rip through Breakerfall, Animal and Hail Hail before giving Rival it's live debut. It's a pretty good first showing for the rarity. At the start of Rival, Ed tells the crowd the next 2 songs are about Americans killing one another; Jeremy follows, making it's first appearance since the San Sebastian show. It's definitely a performance with angst but is rough around the edges certainly. MFC and Habit combine again. Light Years looks oddly placed between Habit and Lukin but it's not; it's definitely up there as one of the best Light Years (Berlin '10 is my favourite). Brain Of J is a joy to listen too, excellent performance. Rearviewmirror is awesome again. Fuckin' Up closes the main set.
At the start of the encore, Ed talks to Brett Eliason asking does he have the tape from the previous show. Eliason can be heard replying to Ed from the sound-desk. Black starts the encore. Leaving Here follows and unexpectedly closes the show.
Short and sweet but I enjoyed this one.

Great choice! I need to dig this one up.
Yeah it's a good one despite only being short. Corduroy is sublime, that first performance of Rival is cool. Weird end to the show though!!

Of The Girl returns to the setlist after being absent in the previous 5 shows; it's a great opener. After the slow opener, the high tempo songs come in the form of Grievance and Corduroy. Red Mosquito makes an early appearance and is on form. Likewise for Pilate. Alive and Present Tense together is so good. Untitled is really cool, Ed changing the lyrics and Matt adding a nice subtle drum beat. Naturally MFC follows and I Got Shit sounds great off the back of MFC. After Wishlist, they really crank the gears up with Insignificance, Rearviewmirror, Even Flow and finally Go to see out the main set.
The encore kicks off with the live debut for Sleight Of Hand. It's pretty good with Light Years following. Better Man is excellent, especially with the crowd singing along. Ed tags Save It For Later just to make it even better. Timeless Melody seems to get better with each performance, this being it's 4th appearance of the tour. After Evolution, it's full-on Ten era mode with State Of Love And Trust, Once and Black. SOLAT is superb, the highlight of that trio. Yellow Ledbetter (probably my favourite of the tour so far) again closes the show.
An enjoyable boot I found.
