    Despite an ill Ed, such a tight gig and a great performance. The set flows great and the boot sounds really good. Probably one of the better 2012 boots. Just a really tight, solid performance and boot.

    Grand Rapids '06. I think this is what is known as an 'Instant Classic'.....

    The first standout show of the 2006 tour. They actually mess up Small Town early on. Given To Fly is next before the now standard trio of World Wide Suicide, Life Wasted and Severed Hand. Sad shows up early in the set and Red Mosquito is superb as is Even Flow. Love Boat Captain slows things down before Corduroy ups the tempo again. Army Reserve and Green Disease keep things go before Why Go - one of the best versions of Why Go I've heard on a boot - then Inside Job and a blistering RVM finish the main set.

    Then we have THAT encore. Ed says its an experiment and they aren't fucking with the crowd. Its some experiment!!! - Sleight Of Hand, Off He Goes, Around The Bend (Ed says they haven't even rehearsed it), Parting Ways, Hard To Imagine, Crazy Mary (Mike and Boom go insane!) and Alive.

    The 2nd encore is pretty special too - Comatose, Satan's Bed, Leatherman, Blood, Baba O'Riley and Yellow Ledbetter.

    It's one hell of a show and even Ed says he is surprised...."Grand Rapids, who knew?!".
