    Atlanta 94. Right back to when becoming a fan of a great band turned into an obsession with the greatest band ever. The atmosphere at the start of the show with Release still gives me chills that are only matched by actually being at a show. RVM should be played this early more often and this is still my favourite version of Whipping. There is simply too much to highlight here without actually reviewing the whole show. I can't ever remember being as excited by a live radio broadcast as this night. Fucking totally wow! I'm thoroughly enjoying this day at work!!! Fucking totally wow!!!!! Dave A is murdering those skins!! :mrgreen:

    Last show in Japan. Opening with Given To Fly before ripping into Last Exit, Brain Of J, Insignificance and Even Flow. Next is 3 songs from Riot Act - Love Boat Captain, I Am Mine and Get Right. After MFC there is a 5 minute improv that actually sounds like a pretty decent song - just needs lyrics put to it. I love some of the improvs they did back in '00 and '03, they should do that kind of stuff again.

    Ed says 'this is for Bill Gates' and they mistakenly go into Light Years! Green Disease follows and Ed dedicates it for Bill Gates :lol::lol: . The main set ends with a storming trio of Lukin, Spin The Black CIrcle and Save You. Bu$hleaguer opens the 1st encore, followed by an excellent Whipping. In the encore there is a sublime Footsteps followed by Crazy Mary. Rearviewmirror closes the 1st encore. Before the 2nd song encore Ed gets the crowd to sing Happy Birthday to Jeff. He then goes into You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, which he fluffs a few times. Alive is next, followed by Yellow Ledbetter and just to round things off then kick into Rockin' In The Free World.

    So that is me done with the 2003 shows in Australia and Japan. Highlights were Sydney I, Adelaide, Melbourne I and Osaka with honourable mentions for Melbourne II, Sendai and Tokyo.

    A really short show with only 22 songs played and one encore - which is expected and from the show being a festival. Not a big fan of the set list for this one, given it was one of those hits only festival type sets. They had quite a few miscues and fuck ups as well. It does sound like it was a large crowd for this one which comes through on the boot pretty well. I'm not a big fan on DTE, but it actually is kind of cool to hear it as the opener and works well with a festival show. This was also the first time of the European tour where Mike didn't tag Y Led with Little Wing. Just not a fan of the set list and this is probably my least favorite boot of the 2012 tour so far.
