  • If PJ doesn't want to reissue it, how about Music on Vinyl? Or dare say, bootleggers?

  • So far it seems no bootlegs have emerged. I would prefer a legit version though. Music on Vinyl would be nice. I just wanna spin this baby on my record player :)

Leezestarr, you are the vinyl champion! I think when they finally get around to putting this thing out on vinyl, you should receive a complimentary copy!

We'll keep bumping 'til it happens. And there are plenty of holidays for potential release dates: Groundhog Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Purim, Mother's Day, National Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day... Or any random Tuesday will do. :ar!

  • How tough would it be to take the plates, send em' off and print another 2000 copies?
    www.cluthelee.com
  • I'm asking myself that as well. Maybe they don't want to piss off the collectors? Maybe they enjoy having a holy grail vinyl that is hard to get? Maybe there is copyright issues? Maybe they haven't seen the thread? Maybe they cannot agree on the colour of the new edition?
We will probably never know. But there are so many good reasons to do the reissue :D

bumpety-bump. If the fans want it this badly, they should get it. [-O< As somebody new to vinyl, this definitely seems like a great period piece in the band's history to have spiining on the turntable.

    Originals would hold their value
Just do a different color they might as well before some jackass bootlegs it

Music should be for all fans not just collectors!

I disagree. Look at the prices of the original vinyl after reissues were released (Ten, Vs, Vitalogy) versus the albums that have not been rereleased.
  • While I feel bad for people who shell out a lot of money for something they really, really want, I don't really care about the collector's value of something. It is an LP, the true beauty awakens when you use it... Why not make it available to all the people out there who got the vinyl disease because they are on here, truly appreciative fans of the music, and vinyl afficionados also because the band made them aware of the beauty and extraorinarity of the vinyl sound?
