I'm sure the smell would be wonderful in august. hahahahahaha
I'd sleep next to a couple of goats if it meant saving 75% off high-end hotel rooms.

Alpine Valley has camping. No worries there. I'm pretty sure there will be a camping package offered for the weekend. but yeah if you make it longer something cheaper is definitely better.

the lawn is awful, but that place is special to me, so i love that it could be there.

I don't know what the fascination with Alpine Valley is. You crazy people even held up a sign at the Cleveland show asking for them to play there. Really? And in my opinion, they should try to play Saint Louis. Too many people on here are only thinking about themselves when saying where they want the show. I live 7 hours from St Louis (one more from Chicago), so its not a personal preference, in my opinion, St Louis is closer to a lot more big cities than East Troy, WI. It just seems like a good central location for people to drive from various points in the Midwest, central-south, Eastern-West, etc. And, I would think flights would be more reasonable for anyone in America. Rather than flying cross-country, everyone should have a shorter flight than if it were in New York or Seattle or something, but as I said, this just seems like a nice central location to me to consider. Alpine Valley doesn't make all that much sense to me.
words seem so out of place.

It's just a guess. August 27th marks the 20th anniversary Pearl Jam's Ten record was released. Seeing that this August 27th lands on a Saturday, and it's a weekend, and late in the summer, 100:1 chance PJ20 will be played that weekend. Just a guess.

    Cool!!
Maybe PJ might follow other bands that played their entire album in order during anniversary gigs...
Imagine entire Ten in order to start off the day! :-)

It just doesn't seem cool to me to start rumors. Maybe they are more then just rumors but unless you work for the band why leak them. Alpine valley would be great. I have seen them there before. But it doesn't sound like it will be in the summer, maybe late summer or early fall. It would be a little cold at alpine valley.
Speaking about camping. I remember at one point there was no camping allowed there. I guess they have changed that. I have camped there and then not been allowed to camp

I hope it is not either, I mean I usually can get some decent seats to concerts being in now for almost 8 years but, I have feeling all I would get would be lawn. I want to be there, and I don't want lawn seats because those just suck. If I am only going to be able to get lawn seats, then I am definitely looking into going to a different concert.

Alpine Valley has seats though, are those going to be first come, first serve seats? I somehow doubt that.
