I just picked up a bottle at giant eagle in shaler. It was 12.99 was going to buy 2 but the beer guy there said it's pretty disapointing. They have 5 more on the shelf. Mine's in the fridge getting cold can't wait to try it!

I was able to get a single bottle of it at Palmer's Beverage here in Columbus, Ohio. It was the last bottle they had on the shelf. They went fast. Someone alerted me that they had 4 bottles left on the shelf and I got there 35 minutes later and found just the one.

Palmer's Beverage Center on Indianola Ave (a hop skip and a jump from Studio 35 where PJ20 was shown) has a box in the back. They said they aren't putting them out because they want to keep them for the Pearl Jam fans who are looking for them. He only brought me one up to the counter but after asking he allowed me to get two. I don't know how many they have left but they are open until 11 o'clock tonight.

    Cheers.

CASES??? wow, well done. Still skunked in San Fran.

Ok, I think I've stooped to an all time PJ low.

I am sending my pops out for a Faithfull Ale hunt this weekend back home in Massachusetts. There is a place in my hometown that appears to be carrying it, so, I sent my parents the link and stated this was all I wanted for Christmas.

I felt kind of bad but when I told my mom not to go any further than my hometown looking for this, she said she'd make my dad drive all over the state to get it for me. In my mom's words, "Oh Jon, thank you! This will keep your father occupied for hours and out of the house, thank you for that early Christmas gift!"

Ha! I love my mom. :D
Haha, I love this! :) They will find it I'm sure. We were back in Salem a week too early, but Dogfish was all over the place. :)

I grabbed four bottles last night in Rochester, NY. They had gotten in a few cases earlier that day and there was probably two cases left by 4pm. I'll be cracking open my first bottle on Saturday night. I'm giving two away to friends and keeping my last for a special occasion.

    Where in Rochester?

Beers of the world. There is one on East Henrietta, and Leighigh St rd and there is on in Winton Plza. I went to the one on East Henrietta today and bought 2, there were only 3 left the guy said.

i bought 5 and left 5 at hegedorns in webster last night. $11.99 each. it has its own display in front, near the registers, not with the rest of the beer.

Was glad to score a couple bottles at a small liquor store in central NJ, their last 2. Planned on drinking one and keeping one as a collectible. Let one bottle chill overnight and cracked it tonight. Let's just say I will not be tempted to open the second bottle. Not exactly my kind of beer. Disappointing for a micro brewery to put out a beer that tastes to me like a mass produced, run of the mill beer with a harsh aftertaste. JMHO. I am glad I got to try it and glad I have one to keep so I am not always going to be wondering what I missed.

Thanks. I'll check on Monday (will be glad when Sunday sales start). I wonder why the Fish Finder doesn't show it being anywhere in Atlanta????

  • Finally scored it at Redmond QFC. I had to ask two times in a week, with the second time, the beer specialist telling me that they had two reserved in their stock room. The lady who worked for QFC came out with the beer sad because she said she was saving it for herself and wanted to know what it tasted like. She asked if I could tell her what it tasted like.

But do I want to drink it right away? I'm struggling on whether I should save it or drink it.

And speaking of which, I noticed eBay some people are flipping them for a quick buck. I guess I shouldn't be completely surprised, although its depressing.

It's probably gone at Hop City. Have you tried Greens?

Hop City was sold out when I called Wednesday. Got 2 bottles from Total Wine......they told me they only got 11 total bottles and there were about 8 or 9 pre-orders. They might have 1 or 2 left.

Only a few left in Charlotte nc, wife and I took a road trip yesterday to get 2 bottles. Everywhere else I know of is out in Raleigh area, 1 store might get some next week.

Drank one while watching pj20 last night, good beer, but nothing super special, but much better than all the normal beers out there.

My brother checked a store in CBus, OH and they told him that when they got a case in the employees had first dibs on them and then whatever was left over was put on the sales floor...but he said their wasn't much left.

    I think that's pretty weak.

Has anyone had any experience in shipping the beer? Or shipping beer in general?

I'm looking to send a bottle to a friend but I've never done it and wasn't sure the best way to pack and how much it will cost to ship.

I would put it in one of those skinny rectangular boxes that wine is packaged in for gifts and bubblewrap the whole box. Then put it in another box.

did it already??? with UPS, Fedex, USPS, DHL???
I am trying to send one also... don't want issues with the post office!!

do not ship via usps, go w/ups or fed, describe the contents as "collectible glassware" or "barbeque sauce". i ship homebrew and trade craftbeer and have never had a problem. use common sense when packing the bottles, i.e. use bubblewrap AND peanuts or some sort of box filler. for boxes, i have used hp printer cartridge boxes, plain double sided-corrugated shipping boxes.

hope that helps, 1 more thing, ship to a biz addy, saves another $3.50 or so versus resi delivery.

Not yet. It is next on my radar. I live and work in the New Albany/Westerville area so it's difficult at times to get over there.

My awesome wife did find me the last bottle a liquor store on Polaris had. But now I want more!!

Am sure it won't go quite as quickly up there as it did in the city, but it's gone down here, at least every place I have been.

Awesome to have and very cool of them to make it, but it's essentially the Dogfish Head equivalent of Bud Light. That said, I still have two bottles and will be drinking and enjoying both.

I bought 3 bottles from my local beer store last Thursday. I drank one over the weekend and it just didn't do it for me. They were $11.99 each plus deposit. Anyone looking for a couple? Thanks
