About $150 on beer that you might not like. I get pissed when I spend $10 on crap beer. So far reviews are good though.

Edit: I just checked more reviews. They are mixed.

My parents picked up 4 bottles at the brewery for me. Of course that means I have to hear my dad bellyaching about beer that costs $12 per bottle.

  • It was $120 for the case. $10 a bottle. The local distributor told me he only received 18 cases, I'm glad he set one aside for me....
  • I just called a local distributor to ask them about it, I said "I was curious if you know when you'll be getting a specific beer from DFH". She said "Let me guess, Faithful Ale?" She said she's been getting a lot of calls about it and no clue when and how much they are going to get. This shit is driving me crazy!

I think a lot of reviewers wished that DFH would have taken more of a chance with this beer. Thats the impression I get from several reviews.

Yeah, there isn't much around here. I have a call in to the liquor store I usually go to and am sure if they get it I can get it for the retail price as they are good people.

I called this other store and the guy was willing to put 2 aside for me and said $30. At that point, I've already showed my hand, I obviously want the beer. And if my local place doesn't get it, this seems to be me only option so I don't want to pass on it and I don't want to tell the guy his price is ridiculous because he'll tell me to eff off and easily sell it to someone else.

I don't quite understand, why is this a crock of shit and evil? Shouldn't a store owner be able to set the price for one of his products at whatever he wants?

For anyone in downtown Boston, Federal Wine and Spirits near Gov't Center got a case. I was just over there and grabbed two, literally met the DFH distributor as the store owner was signing the invoice.

The distributor said he doubted he'd get his hands on a bottle and that their phones have been ringing off the hook.
