    I am confused. I renewed prior to this announcement being made under the assumption that I would be receiving all of the items I usually receive.

    Am I now required to send more money just so I can get what I was led to believe I already paid for? Will I be receiving the holiday single 45 I usually get or will a crappy mp3 be substituted? Does this apply to my next renewal or the one I already paid for?

    Please clarify because I don't want to lose out on getting any PJ vinyl.

    My wife renewed on December 28, 2010(3 days before the announcement) and will get the vinyl and issue of deep but will not get the bootleg download code and t-shirt until she renews in December 2011. If she wants to renew earlier than December she can pay her $40 Analog price at any time during the year including today.

    We actually called them to better understand the policy. We are just both going to renew in April when its my turn to renew so we get the shirt and downloads at the same time.

    I think I paid $25 before for my International membership, so don't have a problem with $50 if it adds a shirt and a bootleg to my membership.

    Can sort of understand why people are upset, it would certainly be better that if they're going to charge that much more money, there could be more communication, and getting the holiday single out in the holidays etc, but we still get a lot more than some other fan clubs, so $50 a year isn't to bad in my opinion

    Why is there a need for better communication? Just email them or call them if your question is so important and they will answer any question you have. This message board isn't where questions are to be answered. Who actually cares when the Holiday single comes to your door as long as it does? I have been a member forever and I can't remember the last time it came before New Years if it ever has.

    Why should I have to email them to just get a stock response? Look at what happened with Live On Ten Legs, took them ages to announce anything, and just gave generic answers to anyone that did mail them.

    I sort of agree with you, but I guess you've never emailed them with a question only to receive a stock answer that doesn't really address the issue you raised? Anyway, they do alright in my book so I'm not complaining.

    If it's an important question I always call. If you get stock answer emails back, it's probably the answer you need anyway.

    Do you honestly need an announcement about a 20th anniversary bootleg record more than 2 months before it's released? Is it honestly going to take you more time than that to figure out if you are going to buy it?

    I went analog...and for added price of just $50.00...I now get the Bootleg, T-shirt, Downloadable Deep letters, and Labor Day Singles.

    Not to mention, Hard copy versions of all of the cool Pearl Jammy swag that I used to get with my old membership.

    I'd say this upgrade is more than fair.

    If you have any questions..Just e-mail the hardworking folks at the 10club.

    They work very hard and are truly really nice folk...

    They work around the clock trying to make all your wildest dreams come true.

    Actually they work from 9AM to 5PM PST
    got 2 mail answer about analog membership questions
    9:23 pm and 7:30 pm seattle time..office was closed
    last year i ask them about my berlin tickets ,got answer at sunday

    Emailed the 10 Club but they want me to email credit card details back, or fax. Not sure I feel comfortable doing this, any one else get the same response from 10 club?

    Edit: Should say I'd already subscribed for an extra year and was looking to upgrade next year's package.

    It is safe. This is how I upgraded my membership. I renewed before the announcement and wanted to go analog.

    you can't guarantee it's safe though. most credit card companies advice you not to do it even if you know the person you are emailing it to. emails do get lost or sometime end up in the wrong inbox. and it's not like hotmail or the like are totally secure sites like most shopping type sites like amazon Ect.

    I would never email your credit card info, not should a business ever ask you to. I would suggest calling, which is what they should be suggesting too.
