Got my Verizon iPhone in the mail yesterday. I haven't put this thing down since....it's great.
Have you made a call and surfed the web at the same time ?
:P
Good one...
Honestly, that doesn't really bother me. People make a big deal about it, but I can count on 1 hand the # of times in my life that I have been on my cell phone and tried to go on the internet at the same time. I think I'll be able to survive...

i'll put my phone on speaker phone, tether to the PC and surf the internet at the same time. it's great when you are on hold, or dealing with insurance people or whatever.

Yeah, that was the 1 negative about the verizon iPhone that made me reconsider, but then I realized that is something I have rarely tried to do. I won't be using the tether feature so I won't have much to worry about.

biggest difference is the Bionic has a dual core processor. mmmmm. beyond thats it's an HTC vs. Motorola thing. HTC uses Sense and Motorola uses Blur. couple of other minor things.
i would defiantly check the two out side by side before defaulting to the Thunderbolt.
by the time May rolls around there could be something else out as well.
Of course in June/July when the iPhone 5 comes out who knows
yea good point. i'm leaning towards the thunderbolt regardless but will def try out all these new phones come may. it will be xmas in may for me

muck the icrap
Thunderbolt will be a nice choice. It's the ugly step child to my EVO. Couple of minor changes to the internals but basically, the same phone. You will not be disapointed with an HTC android device running Froyo.

speaking of may....
April 7: Casio Commando -- you know it as the Casio C771 G'zOne we brought you fresh pictures of a couple weeks ago.
April 7: Samsung Charge, aka the unnamed Samsung 4G LTE smartphone from CES (see our hands-on) or the Stealth.
April 14: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, which we've had our hands on not once, but twice.
April 28: HTC Incredible 2. This one reportedly may be a World device, with GSM and CDMA radios.
May 5: The LG Revolution, another of the phones announced at CES (see our hands-on).
Later in May: the Motorola Droid Bionic (hands-on), Droid X 2 and Galaxy S 2 (hands-on), LTE phones, all.
