Magnificent news about the tour! Cannot wait - Chula Vista - YES!!!! This is awesome...
I am so stoked these guys are touring...wish I could catch one of the GOTR dates w/ Alabama Shakes...that is destined to be amazing...
64 yr old Dad - last night - (who I dragged to Old Crow Medicine Show 5 yrs ago & turned on to M & S: Hey, did you get the email for the pre-invite for Mumford tickets? I'll try for the 3 Berkeley shows you try for San Bernadino & Chula Vista - okay?
So awesome.
Even my wife, who wasn't a fan until she rocked out tot hem at the Hollywood Bowl in November - said "how many shows are we going for?"
Side note: awesome Rolling Stone cover story about these guys if you haven't read it yet.

Just scored a pair of GA Pit tix for San Bernadino!!!
Extremely grateful - wish I could have been lucky enough for Chula Vista as the venue is 30 mins from my house...but oh well..

Chula Vista might be a 1/2 hour from your house, but it takes at least 45 minutes to find parking and another 2-3 hours to get out of that venue. Did your dad score any tix in Berkeley?
Tell the captain 'This boats not safe And we're drowning.'
Does anyone know if the presale codes are user specific? I wanted to help a friend out for the same show. It appears to let me select a seat, but I don't want to get my original order canceled or something.

Dad was shut out of all 3 Berkeley Shows...he's going to try on 4/5...I'm also going to try 4/5 for Chula Vista...I know its a mess getting out, but it is near home. Usually I have a small cooler packed to chill out and suck a few down before i head home...
Exciting to know this band is touring...i saw them at hollywood bowl in November and it was mind blowingly awesome...pretty sad Pearl Jam hasn't been here proper since 2009, but i'll gladly donate my music dollars to Mumford, Alabama Shakes, Old Crowe and the like...

I got picked for the Thursday Berkeley show, my wife got picked for the Friday Berkeley show, and we used her code. Do you want to try my Thursday code and try to get tix for your dad? Let me know, I imagine you should be able to use it as long as tix are still available.

How does a lawn sell out??????????
Well, no Chula Vista show for me...I am quite amazed this show's seats (not lawn) were GONE in 5 mins. This is not a small venue.
To see all the people complain on their fan forum is quite hilarious, reminds me of a certain place sometimes
People actually commented over there that Mumford & Sons should do it like Pearl Jam does...
Berkeley shows, San Diego, Calgary all were seemingly gobbled up in mere minutes.
Grateful to be going to San Bernadino, which not only is a crap venue, but the largest ampitheater in North America (almost 70,000!)...was thinking about lawn possibly the next night in Chula Vista, looks like that decision has been made for me LOL
Wow.
Can't wait. These guys are absolutely fantastic - can't say I know diddly about Michael Kiwanuka or Mystery Jets...
Guess Calgary sold out in under a minute, but secondary market is loaded with tickets. I went old school and lined up at a ticketmaster retail. I was 2nd in line, but there were 2 agents, so it was like being first. I was thrilled to get tickets. Can't wait until May!

They were fantastic at Sasquatch. Earlier in the day, Marcus came out and sang a song with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, who later returned the favor as Mumford & Sons closed out the show with a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain."
The show last night, at the legendary Greek Theatre in Berkeley was amazing. They came on at 9:00 and played til a little after 11:00. It was the last night of a 3 night run at the Greek and the band seemed really in tuned with one another, and was having a blast. Marcus seemed to be losing his voice towards the end of the night, being the third straight night, but the band was tight and the sound was great. The crowd was full of drunks and hipster doofuses everywhere, I've never seen so many skinny jeans in one place in my entire life. It was a GA show, and we got there a little after the first of two openers had started and the place was packed. We hung out on the grass in the back, for a while, with an amazing view of the San Francisco Bay and city in the background. I saw at least 10 hipsters fall on their asses, on the steep incline of the grass, which was worth the price of admission alone. All in all it was a fun show in which the band sounded good. If you are seeing them at a GA venue plan on getting there super early. The encore was the four guys playing unplugged all gathered around one mic. The venue was a little too big for that and made hearing them kind of difficult with all the drunk hipster doofuses everywhere.

Such a magnificent concert @ San Bernadino last night, holy cow!!!
Having seen them before - at the Hollywood Bowl in November, I was certain there was no way they could have topped that show. Boy was I wrong - 70,000 +, sang along, danced, rocked out and had an unbelievable time...Mumford and Sons did not disappoint. According to Marcus Mumford, this was the largest crowd to date that they had played to...the wife and I were in the GA Pit - which was unreal - the energy there was sick...but to look back and see the arms thrusting in the air, the singing along and going bizerko during hits like 'Little Lion Man', 'The Cave', "I Will Wait' as well as lesser celebrated songs like 'Dust Bowl Dance', 'Timshel' and 'Ghosts That We Knew' was magical...
The venue is ginormous and decorated with GOTR/Mumford stuff all over. Beer lines were smooth, potty lines were quick and people were awesome. Getting there was a breeze and leaving was smooth.
I didn't think M & S could be better then in Nov, and they absolutely were.
Their acoustic encore had 'I'm on Fire' and 'Sister/Reminder' and was awesome. I am still giddy and jacked from a show that ended 16 hrs ago. I'll say it again, just like I did after the first time I saw these guys live - I will drive 4 hrs in any direction, any day of the week to see them again. I've seen TONS of bands live, and these cats are as talented and dish out an energy parallel/equal to any band to grace a stage.
Do yourselves a favor and RUN to the next Mumford & Sons concert...these fellas put on one hell of a show.
Coolest moment of the night: side stage, during Michael Kiwanuka, Marcus singing "Home Again" like he wrote it...so cool to see him "fan out". Plus it was nice to see Carey Mulligan enjoying the show also.
Great night...so psyched still!!!

Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans have been postponed due to a serious health issue. Ted wasn't feeling well and found out he had a blood clot on his brain and will need surgery. Praying all goes well and he has a speedy recovery.
To our fans -
Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment. The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.
Sadly we have to postpone three upcoming headline shows planned for this week in Dallas on Tuesday 6/11, Woodlands on Wednesday 6/12, and New Orleans on Thursday 6/13. All dates will be rescheduled and will be announced as soon as we can; all tickets for this week’s events will be honoured at their rescheduled dates. We have no plans to cancel or postpone any other appearances along this current tour.
We’re all wishing Ted a speedy recovery.
Much love,
Mumford & Sons

This is the only reason I didnt go see them when they played in new york. I was legit afraid of the crowd. Not for my safety, for theirs.
Here's wishing T-Bear a healthy & speedy recovery...wow :(
And Better Dan - sorry for the postponement...they will make it up to you bro...
My neighbor was flying to Dallas for the show, cancelled his trip... I've had the pleasure of meeting Ted several times, out of anyone in the band, he seemed to be the most down to earth... I've had some great chats with Ted, and beaten him at multiple thumb wars
Winston(banjo) tweeted Ted is out of surgery, doing well... keep Ted in your thoughts, his bass/low harmonies really make the band for me... GET WELL TED!!!!
