We really need to win this game against Minnesota tonight. That great start to the season can't come to a halt quite yet. 6 losses straight. Tonight's the night to wake the fuck up, focus, and play hard/smart basketball.

    C'mon Jazz!

Was there ever six straight losses in the Stockton/Malone era?

there were two straight final losses to the bulls during that era. :P

Karma's going to get you for that, you smoking bastard! :P It's true though, you've got to be the greatest in the game to not get a blatant SHOVE called on you.

This is our first losing streak with 4 or more in 5 years.

As far as the Stockton/Malone stat, I'm not sure...81, you're good at finding these things out... can you have a full TPS report on this to me in the next 2 hours?

    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL

I heard 81 is having trouble with his TPS reports. Perhaps I can dig up the memo on that to help him out.

He's been listening to too much Michael Bolton.

For his money, it doesn't get much better than when he sings "When A Man Loves A Woman". He's confided this in me.

    did you click the link?

the lost 6 straight games starting in late jan. i also checked to make sure malone and stockton played. they played all 82 games that season. so yeah, that's a qualifying 6 game streak with malone and stockton. :P

Yeah, I just wasn't sure what kind of streak you were speakign of. But yeah, I think that's the franchise high on a losing streak. If it was beat, it had to have been in later seasons which is when we hit a low stride before coming back again.

    Nice work, my friend.

I wonder if the Cavs are holding the current record for longest losing streak? :?

The Nets had 18 straight last season:

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/tea ... games.html

Which I remember was the worst team record since a Sixers team from the 70's I think.

Cavs current losing streak is tied at 18.

Anyone know of a longer losing streak?

Jordan will do that to you.

they had some solid teams in the early 90's, but like a lot of teams, they couldn't get past the bulls.

Beware of San Antonio, my friend. For they just might be your downfall.

HA. The Clippers have been a huge joke for so long. Nice to see them get going a little bit here with Griffin. I just don't think they'll ever be successful with that crazy fuck Sterling running the show over there.

My point is I saw him play in a league that was unreal at the time with players like George Gevin, Artis Gilmore and connie Hawkins etc. One of the first players at the time to dunk from the foul line. It was awsome to see him play with that bush afro of his and those super huge hands. :D Just like me.

BTW he was ALREADY a legend in the ABA!
