  • So I had a rental car and I hopped in, super pumped because it had satellite radio. I quickly found Pearl Jam radio. I turned it on and a London show was on. I was pumped. Listened to it for a couple hrs, it was the greatest thing ever!!

I swear it said "JAM ON" as the station name. Car goes back end of day. Then a week later I got another car, searched for channel, found "JAM ON" and again was jacked....However no pearl jam, notta. just random bands, no Dj talk nothin. I was sure I was going to purchase this but now I'm not sure. What's the deal...?

I listened throughout the day Monday and Tues past and no pearl jam songs, is this the norm, am I losing it, what's wrong with me....anyone out there have it, help!!

Sirius/xm has a channel called Jam On... (jam bands, GD, phish, dmv, etc)
PJ radio started and they moved Jam On To another channel BUT they did not change PJ Radio name... So on the screens it still lists Jan On for PJ Radio...
You must have tuned to the new Jam On the second time.

Thanks, I am asking for subscription for xmas. I knew something had to be wrong. Stupid how they did that. JAM in the title of a non PJ station. Wonder if anyone else was fooled.

I'll say it again, Pearl Jam radio is probably the best idea from the band since releasing all their shows from the 2000 tour on CD. It's really fan friendly, the fact that they mix in old shows for fans like me with recent shows for the newer fans. It's awesome.

I bought Sirius in January 2006 for Howard Stern, his contract is up at the end of this month and if he didn't resign I was going to cancel my subscription to Sirius. However, if Pearl Jam radio is a permanent feature I'm definitely staying.

I gotta chime in and say: What a station.

I love it when Rob plays a full show. That Milwaukee show from (95?) was un-real.

very nice job with the AET show.

So much potential and this station is single-handedly responsible for me re-upping my Sirius XM subscription another 3 months (as I plan on informing Sirius)

for Kelly Curtis: I would love to hear him expand on something towards could he ever imagine now 20+ years later where we would all be (him, the band, us fans etc) as the course of events that occurred to get us on this trajectory that we are all on together and maybe also go into the "What If's". What if PJ didn't select EV and went with another singer for example. There are an infinite amount of "What Ifs" you could do (and some of them don't need to be mentioned out of respect), it could be a really neat thing to go into with him since he's so enrooted into the legacy and history of the Seattle sound and this band
  • I was flipping around sirius yesterday and after playing yellow ledbetter the host on another channel said basically that PJ Radio has been so successful and popular that it seems like it would be a good idea to keep it around full time....said it was only intended to be a limited time thing....first I had heard of that, thought it was a full-time channel from the start
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
  • So Sirius radio isn't free huh?

Yesterday they were playing Melbourne 1995, great sound quality and really strong performance with different intros to songs like Even Flow.

10 bucks says the callers will be limited if this show is allowed to continue. I see lots of "email questions" in the future.

Legendary show. The FM broadcast has been in circulation since very soon after the concert occurred. Great show overall, and a VERY vocal Ed with all sorts of jokes and mini speeches.

"NW...do you know what that stands for?"
