Alright, here is your task should you choose to accept it theserialthrilla and any other fans. Make say a 12 man combined side of the best performers of the 2 tests so far. Now I know a certain someone will be wanting to put Eng-er-land 1-12, but we all know that is not the case, however they will make up the majority. And make it positional. Eg Choose the openers from the openers, choose the 3from the 3 etc.

2 Watson (Strauss is about a bees dick away from averaging 0.33 for the series. HE got the hundred now he averages about 33.
3 Trott
4 Pietersen
5 Hussey
6 Bell
7 Haddin
8 Swann
9 Anderson
10 Siddle (in by a whisker)
11 Finn (hasn't impressed me too much. I can see he will be good, but his 6 wickets were mainly the tail and I breathe a sigh of relief when he replaces Anderson)
12 hard to pick maybe Harris. HE did bowl pretty well in Adelaide. Not convinced by my 12th man selection.

I sat up ready for a few hours and was off to bed after about 40 minutes. I even managed to make a cup of tea and miss 2 wickets. Is this the worst Aussie team ever? I wish they'd get rid of Botham from our commentary team. Such a wanker.

11. Bollinger if fit. a left armer is important. If unfit, then bring back johnson. i watched johnson a fair bit in the nets over the weekend. he certainly spent a lot of time bowling in there. i actually think his problem is that he's bowled too much.

xaviers darts were absolute rubbish. he's played his 2nd and last test. handy 1 day dart thrower though.
another bag to george would bring him back into consideration. has been bowling well for SA in a shit team.
ferg is letting himself down with no runs in the shield besides his ton in the first game. tonned up in the one dayer but failed again with 14 yesterday.

I'd be happy with that team....

Maybe Smith will come into calculations. If hauritz comes back in he will turn it in to the right hander, smith can turn it away. It looks like Clarke won't bowl this series until is back is cherry ripe. But at this stage, I think Smith is a handy batsman, and a decent enough bowler.

it was hot and humid for all days of the adelaide test. was 37 on saturday and cook, trott and kp went alright in it. was about 33 all the other days. i dont think the heat fazes them too much!
