Just thought of this one while watching the Phils - if you have an opportunity to catch a foul ball/home run never ever ever ever ever ever make a gesture that the ball hurt your hand if you drop a screaming line drive by waving your hand like it was sitting in a fire. Horrible. Suck that shit up.

Don't duck out of the way so that it hits your date rather than you.

But your date will be most impressed if you dive for that deflected puck (or ball or whatever), beating out a couple of far leaner, far younger guys, and emerge victorious and literally bloody with the puck in your hand.
