This is a difficult topic because it's just basically going to be a list of bands everyone hates along the same lines as every other thread on here lately. Everyone's tastes are different and one person's favorite band could be the next person's most overrated.
yep u2 !! i am still a big fan of them but often wonder why they carry off with best band in the world awards !!
they have made probably 3 classic records ( un/fire , joshua & achtung ) the rest are no better than many other bands . imo !! and also there live performances of late are very going through the motions .

I fail to understand how any band that's sold 200,000,000 albums is overrated. You may or may not like the music, but there's at least a little something to having such a broad appeal, especially while keeping artistic integrity.
