I'm not sure if Nickelback is overrated or genius for feeding on the idiocy of listeners who will buy their drivel

Now you're not even thinking about the question, you're just sputtering off bands you don't like.

Creed? c'mon, they're struggling to give away their concert tickets for free.

This is a difficult topic because it's just basically going to be a list of bands everyone hates along the same lines as every other thread on here lately. Everyone's tastes are different and one person's favorite band could be the next person's most overrated.

The Rolling Stones (not the greatest of all time like some think - very good but still overrated in my opinion)
    Green Day

    and a few already mentioned
AC/DC - same song over and over - don't get it.

nothing is great bout them at all. they are a average "punk" band with a good songwriter and a amazing drummer.

the sex pistols are so overrated to me. you can't be punk when your playing large arena's and amphitheater. that's just selling out.

no, i understood it. what i never understood is how overrated they were. there are a few bands that have been mentioned that haven't made a record in quite some time, so i'm not seeing your point exactly.

love them or hate them, Hootie was overrated. that's my take.

tell me why you think theyre shit. cause just capitalising it and adding an exclamation mark doesnt make it so.

I fail to understand how any band that's sold 200,000,000 albums is overrated. You may or may not like the music, but there's at least a little something to having such a broad appeal, especially while keeping artistic integrity.

What exactly makes the Beatles Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin overrated? That's just a ridiculous statement.
