Correct. He wasn’t, but nobody expects much from Leonard.  And hey, maybe it’s too much to  expect anything from Drew Allar, but he is the QB who is getting NFL consideration and he was trash tonight. I’m a Penn State fan by the way. I won’t insult the game by sugar coating it tho.  Allar was awful tonight and he is biggest reason why they lost the game.

Horrific interception. Thought Penn Stare had them after stopping them on the drive before that. Just brutal loss.
0 receptions from a WR. Could have been 3 INTs. Just horrendous. At least Franklin for once can be happy everyone isn’t calling for his head

    Horrible loss
Their receivers stink.  But yea Allar was bad.  Let’s hope Texas can beat Ohio state. Can’t stomach nd vs oh
    0 though. 0.

OSU is running through the rest of this. Congrats, rob

Finebaum - Notre Dame is irrelevant and doesn't play anybody. Notre Dame 7-0 THIS season against ranked teams.

James Franklin - "you should be in a conference to make the CFP. We play more games than Notre Dame." Curious what that smug whiny fuck said about Ohio St, Tennessee and IU making the CFP. Sounds more lndependent Envy.

Watching the pregame and they had a segment on Allar and one of his teammates said he was the best QB (may have said "passer") in the country bar none,
I laughed. And then the game played out and I laughed some more.
Dude will maybe be an NFL back up if he gets some seasoning in his senior year.

    3 playoff games:
    13-22 for 127 yds
    13-25 for 171 yds
    12-23 for 135 yds.

He's basically just good at handing off.

Pretty good game (really just the 4th quarter) as a showcase for the CFP. Good thing cause I think tonight's game gets out of hand early and often. Sark will once again be in over his head.

Yeah it was. Game could have gone either way. Was pulling for Penn St. and if the QB didn't throw that critical INT late in the game they probably would have won.

I think Beck has to transfer to get another year (grad school) of eligibility.  And he wouldn't have great draft stock since he won't be able to throw in the combine, and he's coming off of a bad year after being the highest rated qb coming into the year.  My guess is all of these things conspired for him to enter the portal.  Seems rational.

It is strange that this makes you angry.

For me, it's more about confidence in Sark F'ing everything up.

I was planning to pick ND to take down tOSU in the title game, though the offensive line injuries last night have given me some pause.

The challenge for ND against either TX or the Bucks is that they have no balance.  They were fortunate to play two teams also without balance the last two rounds.  Neither UGA or PSU can stretch the field with their receivers. And they have the same one-dimensional challenge on offense.  Leonard did not make good throws or decisions last night.  And they are injured across the board to your point.  I don't think there's any doubt that ND will be 5+ point dog against the winner tonight.  Probably like 7 1/2.

Rooting for UT but I think OS takes it all. Just something about them losing to Michigan fired them up. Not just for them, but for coach as well after all the shit he got because of that loss. Love this time of year, Thursday to Monday football (college/NFL). Good stuff...

Let me edit this correctly, OH, not OS.

I think any of the remaining 3 teams will be s worthy national champion. There were some pretty suspect teams in the original field…and they’re gone.

There used to be some rule that to xfer and be immediately eligible, you had to go to a school that offered your grad degree while your old school did not.  I think that rule is gone though.

I read he was in line for 4MM from Miami.  Plus I think his basketball/influencer GF still plays for UM basketball team.  Might be wrong on that though.  She may be gone.

I don't know if they eliminated the grad transfer rule, but it was rendered moot when they changed the rules to allow players to transfer without penalty as many times as they want. So, as long as Beck has a year of eligibility, he can use it wherever he chooses. I'm bearish on his NFL prospects as well and think that staying at Georgia gives him a better chance at raising his draft stock. But $$$ talks and you're correct about his gf (although she's a senior and who knows what she does after the season).
