Pretty sure (without looking it up) that this IS the Hilltopper. Maybe he has a silly name like Harambe Hilltoppy or some shit, but that is who they are.
Gee, and I thought it was Red Grimace
his name is Wiki

Will be seeing that mascot next Tuesday night. Going to the bowl game their playing in, it's only 5 minutes from the house, and two tickets for $54, so, why not. Something to do and get out of the house, just hoping the rain stays away, unlike last year.
Kiffin has his first recruit at FAU... QB De'Andre Johnson, who was dismissed from FSU for punching a woman.
Maybe now they can start putting people in the stands at FAU's football stadium. That place has been a ghost town, except for the game they played against the Miami Hurricanes two years ago, it was packed for that game. 90% Canes fans though.

That isn't the FAU Stadium either, is it? I said two years ago at the FAU - Miami game in Boca Raton, not a a game played in Miami Gardens, where the Canes play.

I think that was from a game 2-3 years ago. And if I'm not mistaken, it was homecoming weekend. Only time that stadium is full is when the Noles come to town and then it's referred to as Doak South.

Yet, no. But lets see what Kiffin can do as coach. If he can get the players to come into town and play for him, he could be the one to turn the young team around.
It sure has been fun to go to FAU games where you don't have to worry about traffic, and can sit where ever you want. I live three miles from the campus, plus $60 for endzone season tickets is one hell of a deal. Not a FAU alumni, just like going to watch football games.

So, no, the Noles don't rule the State of Florida.
All three of them need to do some serious soul searching to be back in prime form fighting for a Championship again.
You been asleep since 2010? FSU is 17-1 against UM, UF, USF in the Jimbo era. So yes, the Noles do rule the state of Florida.
Agree that you have to break things out based on recent past. Too many ups and downs in CF programs. Was a time when it was all The U and all Gator-gait.
I have no basis for this, but I believe Miami is probably a less rednecky school than the other two big programs.

So, history should be thrown out the window then? Yes, as of late the noles have done better then the canes and gators, but you can't throw out the past. If that was the case, then the 1972 Dolphins perfect season should be thrown out and not counted anymore, since the Dolphins have sucked for many, many years then, huh?

Apples and oranges. While they are both indeed fruit, only one is currently in season. Not saying to discount history, but we're talking about the present. Is it wrong to say the Patriots rule the AFC East?
While we are on the subject of History- check out these years of National Championships. 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, 1941, 1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, 1979, 1992, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015

Nope, still won't say the noles rule FL.
Yes, I would agree that the Pats have ruled the AFC East lately. But they still haven't had that perfect season yet, have they? Came real close a couple years ago, but couldn't pull the win out in the SB.
But if you want to bring up old stuff, too, how about FSU's record streak of bowl appearances, record streak of bowl victories, or record of consecutive top 5 finishes. All of which happened in the 80s & 90s.

Some of those are not recognized by the NCCA though. Bama and Notre Dame have a lot of teams number with their NC's.
