This might be the worst year for bowl games (collectively) that I've seen in many years. Other than the important bowls (rose, sugar, cotton, Fiesta, orange bowls) the games are just completely ridiculous. Who the fuck k is ever going to say hey, I can't wait to see Troy vs Ohio.

Mississippi State is 5-7 and in a bowl game. There are so many fucking bowls that not enough 6-win teams exist to fill them all.

My FIL, BIL, and 2 SIL's went there. It is my wife's family school. (She went to Cal State LB)
We gave Alex a WKU flag and it hangs in his room.
The Hilltopper is pretty cool, I agree. They put some folks in the NFL recently -- not so sure FAU can say that.

Lane Kiffin has to prove himself as a head coach again. He's failed miserably at USC and Tennessee. If he wants considered at ANY big time program, hes going to have to win at a couple of these smaller schools. Plus, there has to be an attitude problem with this guy. He wasn't getting interviews. He couldn't even get the Houston job. That says alot.

He actually is a very smart guy. He is a giant asshole who cannot get along with those around him. This equals bad news as head coach and his reputation precedes him. Have to know he is a good coordinator when Carroll and Saban kept him around and won championships with him on staff.
Giant jerk by most accounts, though.
