Matt and I are back in the swing of things. Working on a batch of 12 new songs, some of which are complete, and others just instrumentals. Some date back to July 2010.
Matt wrote lyrics and put vocals down to one yesterday called "Said & Done." I like where this one is headed. Has a tone like another one we did called "Red Lights." I'm going to see if I can record a guitar solo somewhere on it tonight.
Hope to have more videos from our Dallas show posted throughout this week. Looking at posting "Predicament" and "Orwell's Warning."

just got the DVD in the mail from Chris & i'm looking forward to seeing it! i know we had some screw-ups here & there, but i'm still amazed that we played this show after only meeting once since this collaboration started a year and a half ago. :shock:

this trip we're on is an absolute blast....stay tuned....new stuff is coming together.

quick update for you all....

Chris & I had a long talk last night about how to proceed with the next batch of 10-12 songs. We now know what needs to be recorded/mixed/re-recorded/edited/etc. I'm excited about what he just sent me---two early mixes of the songs "Walk On Stilts" & "Breakout." As always, they sound completely different from each other, which is always a cool thing. We're going to knock these 10-12 songs out first, then start developing all of our new ideas...and I can't wait.

Matt and I are hard at work finishing up 7 songs to all be released together. We usually release 2 at a time. Once we released 3. This batch of songs are really coming together! Here's some of the names..

Walk On Stilts - mellow rock song with differen tempo changes
Said & Done - dark/deep has an "Immortality" vibe to it.
I'll Crawl - Upbeat rock song
Out The Door - An acoustic song just two guitars and vocals from both of us
Breakout - Plowing rocker destined to blow up your speakers
7/5/10 (untitled) - Heavy hitting rock song with distorted vocals. Very different for us.
11/7/10 (untitled) - Mid-tempo rock song with crazy backwards vocal track.

Stay tuned...We can't wait to get these up for you to listen to!
