I was thinking of going out and playing Sunday night.
But then common sense tells me I would end up getting smashed, and not watching any of the game.
So like yourself, I will be home on the couch.

One of these Sunday noon games, we need to get Mamasan, and the rest of your crew together, and go watch a game.

  • Can't blame Peanut for missing the game if he has to, but that would really suck if he doesn't play. He has been our best defensive player all season.

JJ Watt going up against this O-line scares the shit out of me.

As a fan of NFL football, I gotta say that this Bears/Texans matchup is super thrilling...

Find a place out by you? But not a "chain."
Maybe a nice local pub/bar you are familiar with?
If they dont serve burgers and wings, we can always order a pizza.
    10am Bloody Mary's.
    Noon beer
A little food during and after the game.

What ya got out there in good ole Schaumburg?

    crap.

last time we did this, we did chicago city limits. they do a free lunch spread during halftime. it's an ok place.

    other options include
    fox and hound
    rams
    Buffalo Wild Wings

    schaumburg sucks for decent bars.

i'd be willing to head into the city, might be more fun....and might entice a few of our fellow bears fans from the city to join.

  • I have a local bar I drink at in the city, people remember it from Lolla 07. It is just a local pub, on the Northside. But they could/would give us the entire "Back Room" that has a nice HUGE Big screen. Plenty of tables, dart boards, 130 Pearl Jam songs on the Juke Box, we can order Pizza.

Its nothing but my local drinking hole.
But I guarantee you a good time.

Been drinking there for almost 30 years.

We have grills out in back, I can throw burger and dogs on. Its an Irish joint, so they have Guinness on tap, plenty (5-7) different tap beers. I know they have plenty of Irish Whiskey. Again, its nothing but my local pub, but we are all good people, and we know how to have fun.

Lets see how many are interested.

Ah, the Claddagh Ring... right across from Dorado, a couple doors down from the fire station?

I've been there -- pretty decent place. I didn't realize they had grills out back.

so who's going to be at this game? I'll be in section 223 (south end zone).

Looks like a beautiful night for a ballgame. Bear Weather
