I can do without Bright Lights Jay on Monday night.....
Yeah, but the offense doesn't usually wake up until the second half anyways...during which time Jay was probably laying on his back seeing stars in the locker room.

not to mention on of cambell's completions was a dump off for a one yard loss vs. tossing it to an uncovered marshall durin the 2 minute drill. :fp: brilliant.
and in fairness to cutler, one of the picks occurred after he was smacked with the illegal hit, and ran for a first down on the next play.

Weren't all of his completions besides the long one to Marshall little dump offs? That was painful to watch Campbell the other night. I was having some Caleb Hanie flashbacks.

True....Hanie was pathetic. I know the conditions were tough Sunday night, but for a guy like Campbell who has started a lot of games in this league, it was pretty bad.
What's the deal w/ Alex Smith? Does it look like he's playing?

not heard anything official, although it was speculated he would be much more likely to be back before cutler since it was his first concussion and this was cutlers 3-6th depending on source.
speaking of concussed qb's, have you seen what Jim McMahon has been dealing with. sad.

i can see the NFL being dead in 20 years.
Yeah, I've read a few things on McMahon. It's crazy how messed up he is.
I can see it being much, much different than today. Have them play without helmets....then these morons won't be leading with their head all the time anymore.

does anybody else read articles that have lovie quotes in the them and read the quote in lovie's voice.
I'm fine with it. Don't rush him back. We need him for the end of the season when we have 4 out of last 6 against division opponents.
I agree, no need to risk further injury. Bears have not played well in the bay area, maybe campbell can reverse the trend since he actually played in oakland for awhile. Alshon Jeffery should be back, hopefully that helps the offense a little.

i'd be very suprised if he made the trip.
i also wouldn't be suprised if he missed more than this week's game.
Seeing as how the re-signed McCown, it looks as if Campbell will likely get the nod on Monday.
Cutty come back!
Cutler 7/14 40 yds 2 picks

the bears are 8-2 with lovie on monday...let's do this!

i try to speak like lovie as much as possible...
"it's hard to win games when we lose the takeaway battle"
"jay is our quarterback"
"peanut deserved to win the honor of defensive player of the month"
ok :fp:
Typical Lovie not saying anything useful.
All the time.

Best of thoughts to Mr. Ditka as well for a speedy recovery.
2 backup QBs starting with 2 of the top defenses in the league out there. This isn't going to be pretty tonight.
