And on the next PJ tour I am buing 4-5 tour buses to follow PJ around and everyone who posted in this thread is invited.
Can one bus be dog-friendly? I promise, they're excellent travelers and they never complain if you play "In Hiding" 15 times in a row.
Let me think about that for a mome....yup!
We'll even call it the Shaggin Wagon! And it will have the Lost Dogs cover painted on both sides of the bus with your dogs photoshopped in the image. And with red spray paint we will paint a big UN before Lost.
Lets just say my drivers license says 5'3"
so your damned right i want front row
I get the feeling BJ was growling or something when that pic was taken. every time i see the pic i hear him roar
MFC - glad to see your still around...its been a while since u posted here
Youngster - thanks for the invite dude! hope u won the jackpot! Can my furry child come too? He's always down for a PJ tour!!! Here is a pic of Bugsy pre-partying at a hotel last year in RI prior to seeing The Black Keys. http://flic.kr/p/8BPyU7 Ever since I told him about all the other furry PJ fans, he wont stop bugging me about meeting the Unlost Dogs. We really need to set this up!

What's being played at the Newch house lately? Beatles?
I have to admit, I've been on a break with Ed and Pearl Jam stuff. I go through stretches of depriving myself of it to keep it fresh at the right times.
I love exploring new and different music. I actually just got the Florence & the Machine album from my buddy and it's pretty cool. I also re-discovered the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Pretty solid stuff, especially their early work.
So we think EVCT11 is in May? May can be a complicated month. I may be missing a wedding or grad party for EVCT11, so you guys gotta help me come up with excuses to use.

Beatles are on a little break right now. I've been listening to the Lennon reissues I got for Christmas and they sound great; the only problem I have with it is the vocal could be up a little bit more. Other than that, they sound great.
I've also been listening to a couple of live PJ shows from the Binaural tour.
The main thing I've been listening to is ALL of the LOST soundtracks; all six seasons. Michael Giacchino is a genius; our modern day Beethoven or Mozart, is what I call him. He's come up with some great themes for the show and some of the best music I've ever heard.
I'm hoping EVCT11 is in May. If not May, maybe June. Either way, I hope it's a summer show. Going to be a fun time.

going to see the best front-man (of our time) in your friend's back yard is not a good enough excuse? :?
we've got plenty of time to come up with something to get you out of all those obligations...oh yah, shit... i have a wedding to go to on May 21. Ok Ed. Just remember, my birthday, May 25 :P . Thats where its at right there. Or even Friday, the 27th and Saturday the 28th. Those would both work out lovely. And, what better way to kick off Memorial Day weekend, eh??

Im hoping they announce shit soon...i hate all the speculations...I also hope I will be able to afford PJ fest (or, more appropriately, clear up as much on the credit cards from christmas as possible to fund PJ fest), as well as get the time off of work that I need, and not to have it interfere w/ the wedding i have to attend this summer (my bf is the best man so there is really no way out of that) :? :(
is this too much to ask for?
Secondly, do you guys really think this movie will hit the theaters? I mean, lots of B-movies don't make it to the theaters and I cant imagine that this would have the kind of pull that movie theater promoters are interested in. I wouldn't be surprised if it just went straight to DVD. Maybe we could just have a PJ20 movie viewing party in Newch's back yard since hopes for EVCT11 are dwindling. We could still bring beer, cake and brownies

Sounds good to me!
An alternative that would be VERY interesting would be seeing if Dissidentman would let us bring the DVD to his bar, watch it some night, and party on the beach! There's a great tiki bar outside on the sand... I'm thinking it wouldn't be hard to wire up a TV...

Listening to the Allman Brothers Band from Great Woods 06 right now. Sounds like summer.
I'm really game for anything this summer. Wherever it is, it's gonna be fun with all my PJ crazies. Nobody from my friends here except for youngster have any interest in doing this with me. youngster and I are just gonna roll through the festival like a bulldozer, just like Hartford last May. The nice thing about a destination festival is that it essentially precludes non-hard corps fans from attending. I know, I sound like a PJ elitist, but it's true. Most of my friends have seen Pearl Jam before, many multiple times, but they won't fork over the cheese to attend the PJ20 festival in middle America.
