After eight months of campaigning, the wonderful crew at the Ten Club must've been monitoring this thread and knew we were serious about wanting Eddie to come to CT for his next solo tour...and we got it!

I just want to say thank you the mods and Eddie for putting a show on his tour. But I especially want to thank all the people that made this possible and for keeping this thread on the first page. Thank you all of you.

    I'm 100% in favor of this. What are we talking for capacity at these places? Isn't there a Chevrolet Theater in Wallingford?

    I would love if he came here, and yes there is a theater here in Wallingford, just 15 minutes from my office. Its a nice intimate one too, but not as pretty inside as the ones above!

    i think it should be gulf coast tour solo tour there are many lil theaters, an plus look at the previous solo tours an how the did only make sense start in fl head out west to tx dont hate the solo tour played every where else in the country ,,,

    Newch91 hey but those theaters look super nice kinda way to nice to burn one down in but if ed v plays there we have one maybe 3 out back ,, in memphis soon as a flicked lighter security was damn there :mrgreen:

    Come on Eddie! You know you want to. These places are great for you. Plus, if you play at the Palace Theater during the week, all it takes for me is a walk across the street from school to watch you perform.

    The Palace Theater has a capacity of 2,565. The Warner Theater has a capacity of 1,704. There you go Eddie, small crowds for you.

    It seems to me you're starting to love Connecticut when you guys perform here. A solo show by you would be great.

    +1 on that. I saw Derek Trucks at the Warner a few years ago and it was great!
    Add the Bushnell Center in Hartford to that list. Just saw Wilco there a few months ago. What a beautiful venue.

    I've got a boot(?) called "Walks on his Own", maybe others have it. Love it. I have another from Zellerbech Hall from April 2008. Great stuff. CT needs some Eddie solo.

    I'd love a little solo tour of Ed's in Europe, though I seriously doubt if that's possible.

    Sounds like a plan. If it's at the Palace, there's a bar called the Marquee literally next to the Palace.

    The Marquee Cafe, next to the Palace, is a small pub/bar/cafe, whatever you want to call it. I'll try to take a picture of it and post it here.
