The US holds the Ryder Cup man.  Take your elitist European golf criticism somewhere else.

No, you are right.  5% of US golf fans suck!  They just want to get heard on tv for some weird reason.

The Masters truly is one of a kind.  I work there during the tournament when my schedule allows it.  It's even more beautiful in person and never ceases to amaze.  Augusta National is heaven on earth in a golfers world.

Being an employee at the Masters is very eye opening.  Ive been fortunate enough to see a lot of the areas that the public never gets to see.  The behind the scenes type of stuff is just as impressive.  I might type up some my experiences later on and share them on here.
So, you’ve seen the racism and sexism close up?

I read an article this morning where Hank Haney was saying that Tiger doesn’t have a shot this week and that the other touring pros think it’s a joke that he’s the favorite. The reason? His inconsistencies with the driver. Haney said he can’t hit irons off every tee at Augusta (obviously), so he’s basically screwed. I agree that he’s going to need to find a way to control his drives to contend, but what wasn’t mentioned was how wide the fairways are at Augusta. It’s a bombers paradise. I agree it’s unlikely and I’d definitely bet against him, but I hope Tiger uses this as fuel and somehow finds a way to prove them wrong.
The Masters Youtube channel has recently uploaded a bunch of full broadcast final rounds in HD. I watched the last round of 2005 the other night- the Tiger vs DiMarco one. Tiger was extremely inconsistent with his driver. Wound up so far right on one hole he was on another fairway. He beat DiMarco in a playoff but they were 7 shots ahead of the next guy.

Great point.  One of my favorite Masters ever.

Would be my favorite if he didn't go bogey-bogey to finish out after 16.

97 is my favorite. Nothing will match that. Hell, world.  My old man and I had caught a glimpse of him at the BC Open 6 months or so earlier.  Everyone in town thought he was a punk but was also mesmerized.  Then that.  Incredible.

Love that the masters posted all these.  Have been wanting to dive in but haven't had the time yet.

Some of the most memorable shots of the past decade or so are from wayward tee shots. Sergio, Bubba, Phil, Tiger's chip even.

Favorite Tiger majors...Edit: looking at these, probably most everyone's

PGA: Valhalla. Poor Bob May. Walking in his putt
British: The one after his dad died. Don't remember where it was
    US Open: Torrey

Would have to think this Masters would surpass anything if he were to somehow win.

No doubt. The first major win was inevitable based on his ability.  To come back and win a major this year would be the greatest.  If he wins a major next year or the year after a few wins it won't be as significant, but to pull it off this year after the injury/layoff and against much better competition would be incredible.

Holy shit Tony Finau just destroyed his ankle celebrating a hole in one in the par 3 contest.  That was disgusting.

I hope tiger doesn’t suck it up tomorrow and let some of the air out of the ballon early.  There are so many top players though to watch it won’t matter much.

Alright.   My prediction is a Phil Mickelson victory.
