It is Sunday at the PGA and we have a compelling tourney. Some of these pins are in WOW places, holy cow.
Does Furyk hold it together, shoot a 4th consecutive sub par round and hold on to win?
Does Dufner, Stenson, Stricker or Scott make a Sunday charge?
    Who falters?
Does Jonas Blixt shock the world and win his first Major in his first PGA Championship, barely a month after winning the Greenbrier?
A deserving winner will emerge and be holding the Wanamaker at the end of the day. Personally, I'm rooting for Stenson and Dufner - they are good guys, great sticks and would be great champs - always fun to watch someone get their 1st Major.
    Enjoy it all!

PS - for those of you who are wondering the every shot feature pairing this morning on channel 703 Direct TV:
Our final-round Marquee Groups will be Tiger Woods and Brooks Koepka in the morning:
    Tied for 48th
    13 shots back
    Must See TV
    GO TIGER!!!

I absolutely love the final day of ay major championship - definitely will be dialed in to this one.

Really hoping that Jimmy Furyk holds on for the win today!

Apparently Tiger is still a draw, on the "featured pairing" this morning on channel 703 (Direct TV) we get to watch each and every single swing of his!
Imagine that, who else 10 shots off the lead , would be so fortunate?
    GO TIGER!

That's the thing about Tiger. All of his shots are always shown despite where he is. How many times have you seen a golfer going into Sunday in the last pair and he starts to play bad and you don't see another shot on TV all day? Almost every tournament. You generally don't get to see every shot when a golfer is going through a rough patch. This makes Tiger the most scrutinized player in history.

Its unheard of to show anyone's everyshot (this far back) in a Major, eddiec...thankfully there are 4 "channels" on the PGA Championship Mix so the other 3 won't show Tiger unless its a highlight. Heck, he'll be off the course by the time Furyk and Dufner hit a tee shot possibly...
But he is THE guy. Look at the galleries for him and Keegan yesterday. Still a draw. Like him or not, he "moves the needle".
I for one LOVE the featured pairing channel - there is something about watching every shot live and seeing him eat snacks and chat with Joe and sometimes the other guy I find compelling. Almost like you're walking alongside him. Without "Baba Booey" guy screaming after every shot directly in your ear.
And, I'd ask this - who in the heck wants to watch every single shot of Brooks Koepka?:lol::lol: This young guy is playing in only his 3rd Major - missing the cut in the Open Championship and US Open last year. This will be a fun afternoon for him and quite the experience. Hope Tiger puts on a clinic :)

I'd love to see Ian Poulter this morning - birdied 5 of his first 8 holes...guys a stud on Sunday!

6 over thru 5 holes so far...just a tad nervous...not use to these galleries...no one has asked him "who's that guy you,re playing with, Brooksie?"

They're probably asking "who's the guy with the honours on the tee with tiger?"
How many fairways has tiger hit today?
I don't know about putting on a clinic.I think tiger should go to the clinic.

Brooks did get honors on 10  after going 8 over thru first 9, he's settled down to 1 over on back 9...hope he finishes 18 strong!
Tiger has hit maybe 3 fairways today...just a calamity with the driver, unreal. For a guy who hits a 5 wood so far and so straight, I don't get the driver pulls today - maybe working on the game?
Made 3 birdies in a 4 hole stretch to get back to even on the day and remain 4 over for the tourney.
Should be a great afternoon, RoughMix.

8 career rounds at Oak Hill for Tiger...8 rounds at par or over, hasn't broken par here yet.
    Kind of amazing.

It will be a great afternoon.
You have to be able to move the ball both ways on this course.
    Something tiger can't do anymore.
He's afraid of using the driver. When he hits something else sometimes he is to far back for his approach shot.
I think I saw him hitting 220 into one of the par four holes today.
I don't think he has had a sub seventy round in a major final round in some time.
You are the stats master.Any idea?

Yeah,a nice guy who lost his tour card a couple of times.
I think he won comeback player of the year twice! I still don't understand him skipping The Open for a wedding anniversary. But,to each his own I guess.

For the year, he broke 70 once in 16 rounds of majors and hasn't broken 70 in 16 consecutive weekend rounds in majors. Putting = major nemesis in the last two rounds of majors for some time, this week the driver killed his chances.
This was Woods' 64th major as a professional. Nicklaus won his 15th major in his 67th start in a major as a pro.

This matchup today with Furyk and Dufner has been amazing thusfar. I honestly didn't think Duf's putting and iron play (approach shots) would be this clutch..could be his day!
The back 9 might be a nailbiter!
Is there anything better then Major golf drama???

    Furyk absolutely kills me.
I like the guy, but sometimes late in rounds this guy is his own worst enemy for sure.
Nice job by Dufner, nerves and all.

Dufner kills me. Dude will not smile. He played great. Great champion. Also, a nice little pat of the wife's ass. Well played.

All class from Keegan being there in person.

you need driver to win at oak hill ... tiger and phil can't hit driver = not likely to win ... dufner won because he could hit his driver ...

as for tiger ... obviously i'm not a fan but the guy (if healthy) will put himself in contention in the next 5 years or so ... especially at courses where you don't need driver ... i also wonder if his recent injuries in the last few years is related to him not using steroids anymore ... now, before you tiger lovers go on tilt ... this isn't just a baseless accusation ... his former doctor tony galea has a steroids connection and someone i know who knows him says basically he gave steroids to tiger ... take it all with a grain of salt ...

    Congratulations to Jason Dufner.
Furyk is one of the most frustrating golfers to watch.
Furyk just didn't have the length on the final few holes.
Dufner was driving the ball perfectly.
Every time I see Dufner,I can't help but think of Spaulding Smails from Caddyshack.
