Tied for 67th place at the moment for tiger...in the mix? Hmmmm.
    This is not Firestone.
    At least tiger finished nicely.
    And guess what?
    Denied to give an interview.
    Surprise!

Wrong Cliffy,he declined for tv coverage(TNT),but later did one for the PGA.
Which he is obligated to do.

gee tiger is falling back ... does anyone still think he'll break Jack's major record? i'm not so sure now, he hasn't won since '98 and next year he'll be 39.

Tiger last won a major in 2008, not 1998. (Torrey Pines)
Jack won his last Major at 46 years old. Between 1978 and 1986 Jack won 4 Majors. That's the equivalent of 30+ Majors.
I'm not sure Tiger plays competitively until 46, but if he is healthy I'd guess he'd show up for Majors.
Tiger has a long way to go this weekend, and most likely 10 shots is too much to make up...
So, to answer your question lukin2006 - will he break the record? I think he will. Can he win 4 or 5 of the next 30+ Majors he plays in? For his career, he's won 1 out of every 4 tourneys he's entered...(25.99%) the odds suggest he will.
Shall be a great watch to see, regardless...
So happy for Duff today...great guy...that short putt on 18 showed you the nerves creeped up on him...
I'd love to see him win it this week.
    btw, GO TIGER :D
