Nice show, good crowd in our section, great weather, nice walking around downtown beforehand, and free street parking, can't beat that. So glad they didn't play the Meadows. Poster was cool but I didn't care for the t-shirts. Not one of my top ten shows by any means though. I think I was the only guy who didn't know Ain't Talking 'Bout Love. I too was thinking Whale Song, based on Ed's comments. My jersey didn't help. Here's my photos.

That's what I forgot to ask the security guard that was at my section. My buddy and I were talking to him before the show and he was really down to earth. I forgot to ask if he can get me a setlist after the show.

Was at the show. Crowd and PJ had great energy. Ed was in phenomonal voice. Satan's Bed and Lukin (as Ed called it, Satan's Kitchen) back to back were fantastic. Set list was dissapointing for me though, especially when I saw the set list Boston got. Wow.

Personally I would take the setlist in Hartford over the Boston one any day of the week. Just because a song is rare does not mean its better!

While I have not read this entire Thread... i feel the need to post something here...
I have listened to PJ for almost 20 years but for whatever reason... I never got to a show, until this show.

It truly was a life changing... no... Life affirming night. This band, these people have been a big part of my life for so many years. I don't think I can express how great of a night this was. I have no regrets in life and the way I lived... I may have missed a TON of incredible evenings and I have enjoyed reading about all the shows some of you have seen, but 20 years went into that Hartford experience for me.... And I will never forget it.

I just have to say this... What ever you think of the set list... crowd... venue... poster... tshirts... parking... Pearl Jam has found a way to reach me, you...us. So we keep listening, coming back for more. Pearl Jam's music spoke to me for all these years and I spent money on Albums instead of concerts... but that show brought me home... I will still buy albums (especially this Boot when it comes out) and I have family obligations that will keep me from touring... but I won't miss another show in my area.
Thank you Pearl Jam... and thanks for bearing with my little soap box speech here PJ fans.

can't wait for the boot anymore, it's driving me crazy!! :D

although people who might look at the setlist and might not be as impresses as they would looking at boston and msg on this tour, i can assure you it was quite a special night and the band put nothing but 100% into the whole show.

Hartford 08 was my first show. unreal setlist but i had shitty seats (stuck in front of the lawn, couldn't see the stage!!) Hartford 10 was my first time getting seats through 10C and they delivered!! (only a member for less than a year and get section 103 at center ice!!)

looking back at both Hartford 08 & 10, the band only repeated 6 songs both shows. that's 49 songs i've heard in person for the first time in just the two shows!! they've been treating Hartford really well the past few years, let's hope they keep stopping by!!
    Hartford '08 | Hartford '10 | Worcester I '13 | Fenway 1 '16 | Fenway 2 '18 | Fenway 2 '24

Same thing here! The part of the show I love is when Eddie let us continue applauding after Even Flow; that extended applause was where you knew he was loving the crowd.

Hartford 08 was also my first show and I was on the lawn; Hartford 10 my second show and first for 10C tickets, in section 117 first row!

I love the stat about the band only repeating 6 songs for both shows and having already seen 49 songs. There's a reason this band is awesome!

    Can't wait for the boot!
