Had tickets to the show and was pumped about going. Then I found out I had to be my brother's confirmation sponsor and had to be at church instead. I missed what seems like the best show of the tour so far.

I am so jealous. I wish I lived in the Northeast so I could hop from 1 show to the next. I would hit them all. I went to the 05/03/10 show in Kansas City and still can't get it out of my head. From what I have read here, that was an awesome show. Can't wait for the bootleg!

I was trying to get ten club tix to msg 1 when my wife called to let me know my 14 yr olds confirmation was just announced as the first msg date. Stopped trying to get tix and went for night 2 and was out of luck. I feel your pain, but will be at Newark with 10 club seats and msg 2 with a scalped seat.

What did the 10 clubbers on the floor have signs requesting at the start of the first encore that Ed shut down? Was is Red, Black, Yellow? I didnt get 10c tickets for Hartford so I couldnt see where I was at. Scored a really good single ticket from ticketmaster but my eyes aren't what they used to be

Wow. What a great night. Thanks to Fenway Faithful and his 10C # I was lucky enough to be on the floor. Section 4 Row 4. Best seats I have ever had ever. The show was unreal. I got to hear Nothingman which has been my favorite PJ song for about a decade. Speed of Sound was a treat. As was All Along the Watchtower. The whole show was awesome, what can I say. Can't wait to hear the boot.

Can I say that Band of Horses sounded great. Really got a lot of love from the folks who came early to see them. Played 3 songs off the new album.

An incredible night that will be hard to top in the next few shows.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

  • I had to bury my aunt yesterday morning. Didn't leave NY til 5:30. 3 hour drive to Hartford. Checked in the hotel around 8:15 and parked the car without even going to my room. Ran over to pick up my Ten Club tickets. Luckily there was no line. I was scared after the stories I read about Hartford in 08. Missed out on a poster by a minute in 2 booths and only Large hoodies. One guy wanted to sell me a stained one at a booth.

Was walking to my seats during Unknown Thought. Slipped and fell on someone's split beer in the aisle. I think it was the chick walking infront of me down the aisle who spilt the beer. Who had the balls to say stop pushing me. Cursed her out. Then realized I was one section off and had to walk back up to 115 in order to get to the floor. Got to my seats on the aisle center stage on Stone's side 12 rows back just as Unknown Thought was ending.Have a bruise the size of Texas on my lower back/ass.

Took my sister to her 1st Pearl Jam show after promising her for years and not taking her cause of only getting 2 tickets through Ten Club. She got up rite before Jeremy to get a drink and actually found the last 2 XXL hoodies and the last poster in the place after saying to the woman behind the booth I have a stupid question. Do you have any posters left ? And said said yes and took it from behind the counter and said we didn't know we had one left until 30 minutes ago.

So after having to bury my aunt. Getting to see one of the best PJ shows I've experienced was very therapeutic. Hearing Dissident, Lowlight, I Got Shit(1st time), Satan's Bed, Lukin,AINT TALKIN ABOUT LOVE, Crazy Mary, Indifference, and AATWT. I Didn't want the show too end and I think the band could have played 2 hours more that is how into the crowd they were. Great crowd and a perfect night. I'm going to Newark and both MSG shows. But the bar was set high tonight. I'm not sure they can reach it. But sure hope they do.

Great show! Great sound! Great setlist! Ed gave his bottle of red wine to the crowd on the floor and told them to "pass it round". Very cool!

WOW!!! What a show last night. I gotta say when I heard they were playing the XL center and not the Meadows I was disappointed. I had never seen a show at XL center but knowing how old it is and dealing with downtown hartford parking and traffic I thought it was going to be a pain. Well was I wrong on ALL counts. Got right in and found a space easy. Went and picked up 10 club seats with only 2 people in line in front of me. Seats were awesome.. (192xxx got 114 row j) about 3 rows back on stones side. Best seats I ever had to a PJ show. Hit the pre party then another little place on the same street. Weather was great. Then the show. The crowd was absolutely amazing!!!!! The last couple CT shows had a ton ofr drunk fools who seemed more into drinking then taking in the band. Tonight the entire place was into the show from the first note till the last. The setlist was amazing in IMO. Satans Bed! SOLAT! Low Light! Lukin! Van Halen! Did not see that one coming. The band really seemed to acknkowledge and apprceiate the crowd and delivered us an amazing night. I have been to some great PJ shows including Philly 3, but for me this one was bar none the best show EVER!!!! Thanks PJ.

Yeah, it was "Black, Red, Yellow". Some guy a few seats down from me brought in a whole packet f them and handed them out.
Pretty funny when Ed said he couldn't read it and "Does anybody with good seats have a copy".

Great show. Loved "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love".

Anyone else notice before Satan's Bed Ed saying "Natas, natas!"?

I dont know if anyone noticed, but i was up fairly high last night, but a cool little detail that i noticed and i dont know if it was done on puropse or not but it seemed like a smaller light was focused on a whaler logo on one of the banners behind the stage. i only noticed it during a few songs, corduroy, and i beleive dissident (which was my favorite part from last night, just perfect) and one other, maybe low light. but for some reason i want to say it was the daughter/w.m.a portion. for all i know it could have been a reflection, but it was perfectly focused. i just thought it was a nice little touch to a great night.

I scored two tickets from a friend of member SalJam for $50 each  and boy did we ever get our monies worth. Thank you SalJam and thanks to your friend Pat for the hook up. I took my niece who was celebrating her 16th birthday at here first PJ show, I think she learned how a 30 year old man can be so into a band :D . anyway on to the show. Seats where in section 215 row V we where in the rafters I found the sound up there to have a bit of an echo but still sounded good, we made our way down to the platform at the bottom of the section for the finale two songs and man was the sound way better down there. They guys came out on fire unthought unknown, Corduroy, Do The Evolution, Got Some the whole building was alive. Dissitant was amazing but the energy felt like it was fading by the time it reached our row a lot of people around us mostly row W sec215 where there to have conversations with there friend and girlfriends I restrianed during the show, but if you sat in sec 215 row W seats 8-14 next time your at a show shout the f**k up :shh:. In fairness by the time the main set ended the they quieted down  dummies. Anyway I rocked out and some guy in my row four people down rocked out and we where the exceptions, can't wait for my 10C seats in Boston and MSG 2 to be in the middle of the energy. It was my first show since 96 and I was left fully satisfied.

    Highlights:
Low Light, Nothingman, I Got Shit, Daughter/WMA, Satan's Bed, Lukin, State of Love and Trust, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love (Van Halen)

    Surprise of the night:
Jeremy :o the crowed was so into it it was so much fun, the energy completely filled the venue my niece was blown away by the crowed during it.

Thanks again to SalJam and there friend Pat for giving me the opportunity to see this show for such and amazing price that allowed me to give my nice on hell of a birthday gift. This community is really special and I'm just happy to be a part of it. :D

See everyone in Boston and MSG 2!

One of the best shows I never heard. Somehow the pa for the front was off, so we heard Eddie and Mike from the return sound. Only Stoneys pa was aimed right. Other than the sound a great show. The setlist could not have been better, and the crowd was amazing. Highlight included Lowlight, Nothingman, Satans Bed, I got shit, WMA tag, Crazy Mary, Indifference and Van Halen. Unthought known 2nd time on tour as an opener. I'd rather hear it mid set, it has a nice build on its own. On to Boston.
    All together now...
