In a watered down league? And he's younger than when MJ won his first, so it's not out of the question.

Exactly my point. So it's not that much of a stretch to say 6 isn't out of the question. And actually the league is relatively better than it was 5-6 years ago, but that's not saying much.

in the east, you have Miami and then a few solid teams and then a bunch of crap

out west you have OKC and a bunched of washed up has been teams and not much else.

sucks, but i can see miami dominating for the near term.

Now how can you not want to get behind a team that brings this type of intensity? Reminds me of the days Bosh did this in Toronto (oh yeah, he never did)

And it doesn't matter how many championships Bron Bron wins, he's still a prick....and if you don't agree, you haters just go and wake up and go back to your life tomorrow, i'll build my MJ legacy on cramps....

    Championships don't buy class :nono:

And the NBA is a joke

Soooo...dagger 3 to FTMFW in the Olympics, 3 MVPs, 2 Gold Medals, 1 NBA Title, and 1 NBA Finals MVP. Should I contact Kat to lock this thread for spreading misinformation?

James winning 2 Gold medals in the Olympics would be like Jeter and the Yanks winning 2 college old series, really means nothing considering the lack of competition.

I will admit that it was fun to actually root for LBJ....he's so damn good.

Give in to the dark side...the Heat go 10 deep this year and Team USA showed that speed and quickness can beat bigger bigs in FIBA style ball that gives the advantage to fouling on runouts. Howard and Gasol will dominate the Heat down low, but they can't go cold for any stretch against the Heat. Plus, Gasol blew it out today in the 3rd quarter and was done in the 4th. Maybe Howard alleviates some of that, but not all. For now it's Heat, Thunder, Spurs/Lakes things can change though.

Bad comparison IMO. They played against against MEN( PROS), not College kids.

It's the U.S.A. fault that ther that much better then most of the competiton?

I guess it would have ment NOTHING if Spain won the Gold?

No matter what anyone says, he's the best player in the world...don't think there's much debate about it anymore. I'm not crazy about the guy or the way he has handled himself, but you can't deny his talent.

he drained two 3s to tie the game vs the cavs (in cleveland) last night as they were down 27 at one point.
    the heat eventually won AGAIN.
    24 in a row.

he's peaking right now but still a D-head.

Yeah, that was pretty crazy. After he hit the 3 to tie the game, of course he stands there staring like an asshole. Run your ass back down the court. As great as he is, he'll always be a no-class douchebag.

Through analysis though way off, the Lakers will lucky just to get into the playoffs. That said even though I don't practically like him he is a beast on the court. Most would take him on their basketball team because he's that good. Very entertaining game last night.
