A game was postponed in 2006 I believe against the Tigers because they thought it was going to rain. Barely drizzled.

In 2010 they pushed an Eagles Sunday Night game back to Tuesday for a "blizzard" which turned out to be a few flakes. And we lost and the season quickly went downhill.

Then in 2013 there was a forecast snow shower which turned into an actual blizzard, with a full stadium and the Lions vs. Shady McCoy.

Rooting for the Astros and Phillies, lol...

    I don't know who I want...

I like Tucker, Yordan and Bregs.  Then I like Harper, Segura, Hopkins and Nola...

Just hoping for a good series though the Astros look really good.

I never had anything against the Astros. I still think that whole cheating thing is overblown. They are clearly the best team but anything can happen, especially if "Aaron's Better" Nola, Wheeler the Dealer and MV3 perform. Also there's an Eagles vs. Texans game somewhere in there.

Wheeler really has had a hell of a resurrection of a career since leaving the Mets huh?

Ugh...really? I don't like him. Not quite sure what it is. Just seems nerdy and awkward at times. Love Smoltz though.

Smoltz gets on my nerves but it's funny him talking about playing in Philly, which was usually a win but not always. ;)

Smoltz has some great insights into pitching but jeezus he talks a lot. he needs to learn to shut the fuck up sometimes.

    Yup.

I'm just glad Joe Buck isn't calling the game.

This series will be a blast. Phillies are mashing right now & Houston's pitching has been outstanding. Trying to figure out a way to get down to Houston for game 1 - flights are stupid expensive.

Never cared for Buck & McCarver.

The guy that Fox has now is refreshing compared to Buck.

I agree with pjhawks that Smoltz goes on too much, but he does make some good point during the game.

Costas wasn't too bad when he was younger.

The way the Phillies are playing they can make this a good Series?

pjh - The Primeau 5OT goal was such a great moment and unique for sure (and I was certainly rubbing it in their faces out there, esp after some guy threatened to beat me up in the men's room), but it's certainly more fun when everyone in the place is screaming along with you. (The Igloo was 2/3 empty by then too.)

hope I’m wrong, but I think this stupid five day layoff can only hurt the Phillies’ hot bats and help houston’s hot arms.

I'm fine with the layoff and icing both teams, as opposed to the ALCS going 7 games.
