    Hoping that somehow, some way they can beat the Pack this weekend. I'm still bitter about the Dez catch last year (I was there!). I'm not going this year to see it in person, but would love to stick it to Packer fans if Matt Cassel can beat Aaron Rodgers. That would be sweet indeed.

    Totally gonna be Tony's team. But I have a feeling the NFC East is gonna be a tough division next year. He's going to have to have a stellar season.

    ^^^doesn't matter who the backup is, Romo goes down they lose, Garrett is not a capable head coach ... that 12-4 season was a fluke...that's why they drafted zeke to try and reproduce that season ...

    I agree, Jerry does like him. The only thing I can figure is that he's the perfect yes man for jerry or jerry knows that quality head coach's will not consider Dallas because of jerry's meddling ways.

    I'd say it's both. I think with a proper owner who isn't gm and owner and whatever else, this team should been better with the talent they have and probably win a super bowl or 2 by now. It's not the coaching with this team, it's JJ. I love the way Prescott is proving he can be the backup qb. Outta all the qb's in the draft, he impressed me the most in college

    Dak was the comp pick they were awarded from losing Demarco Murray to Philly I believe. How great would that be to end up with the better QB than Philly while using a pick we received by Philly trying to hurt us by signing Murray ... that'd be sweet. Still early and its only pre-season but the kid looks good so far.

    The thing is Jerry's a great owner, just not a good GM. As for Prescott ... through 3 pre-season games he looks capable and has likely solidified the back-up job, but for me most importantly it looks like they have the future starting QB on their roster ... this could be a great draft, getting Elliot and Prescott as possible future stars to go with a young talented O-Line and Dez ... now if the D comes together.

    I agree. At least their backup was getting almost all the pre-season work anyways and has looked good in games. I didn't figure we'd make the playoffs this year, so it's a great opportunity to see if Dak is our future at QB...
