    Bummed that Barry Church is done. And to the comment earlier about Jenkins playing safety? Nice thinking but he's way to fragile to pull that off.

    Jones is the big issue. The roster is thin, very thin. I'm not sold on Garrett but tough to judge given how poor the drafts have been over the years.

    I had to laugh today when I read the ESPN Insider preview for the game against Chicago. The "Scouts" they have preview the game gave Dallas the edge for head coach. They must think Lovie Smith is really dumb.

    No kidding...afterall he has taken the bears to a SB...Garrett's never been to the playoffs as a head coach...and if that O line don't start playing better he'll be lucky to win 7 games.

    Maybe they were referring to Lovie's defensive background (every post he has held has been a defensive position or coordinator job) and Garrett's offensive mindedness.

    Personally I'd take Lovie in the matchup. And depending on which Jay Cutler shows up, and whether the Cowboys have improved their offense (line especially) any, we could be looking at a defensive showdown. Which means Garret is out of the equation anyway and it's down to Lovie and Rob Ryan. I'll take Lovie in that matchup as well.

    I find it hard to believe their O line is better than Dallas...but I'll give you that...their defence is much better than the cowboys for sure. They just plain whooped the cowboys tonight.

    The score actually makes it look better than it was. Going into the final minute I think the score was 34-10 and Dallas managed to score a last minute/futile 6 and convert for 2 to make it 34-18.
