Hopefully Christian Bale takes a bit of a chill pill on this one and tones down Mr. Raspyvoice.
I guess Bruce Wayne has to hide his identity somehow but... it still bothered me.

Yeah that's right, the voice in the first movie was ok, but in the second... what the fuck happened to him!!? that little thing ruined the character. I'm not a big fan of these new Batman Movies, I still think that Burton's film were the best by far.

I can't believe some of the posts here. Some people are taking Batman way to seriously. It's a piece of entertainment. The Dark Knight was a good movie. There's no need to pick it apart, it's based on a comic for sake.

Hmmm... I didn't find anyone outrageously tearing this one apart for good or bad...

:lol: he made me think of that kid with asthma on malcom in the middle the way he'd pause after every few words.

i'm not that big a fan of burton's, especially his joker and having him be the one that killed bruce wayne's parents

    That drove me crazy too!
I thought the movie was sub-par. Hype and marketing dont make for a good movie. I can't even remember one memorable scene now that its been a year since i've seen it.

the Dark Knight was one of the top Batman movies. the biggest issue is with it was Batman. batman sounded so goofy when he was in the batman outfit.

it's always fun to watch movies that are filmed in the area.

That was my other complaint with the movie. It was obvious that it was Chicago. The city did not have a "feel" to it. I guess i just liked Burtons creepy Gotham MUCH better. I read that there were even parts of the flick where you could see signs that read "Chicago"... nice planning there location director!

sorry to bring up these points in this thread. I am just hoping that they bring something new to this upcoming release..

I hated Burton's Gotham. It seemed so obvious that every scene, even a lot of the ones that were supposed to be outside, were filmed on a sound stage.

owww loved the first two new films...alot to live up too now.

I think there is a part of Nolan that would like to use the joker in this new film.... But it would be a HUGE distraction with the recast and would take away from what we all expect.... A great film. I think he has been thinking about the 3rd film for a while and isn't rushing things. To make a film like Inception as his follow up project to TDK is promising as hell. The great thing is that he is a young director( I think under 40) and has many years ahead if him and all of Hollywood willing to throw $ at future projects. They begin shooting the next film In April and I can't wait to hear who will be cast and obviously the villians.

Btw I was able to get that 2nd amongst the waves single for a friend ;)
and very good looks on the itw vinyl reissue..... Made my day
