Anyone know how to re-up Roll Call?
I submitted a question thru Ground(ctrl) a few days ago but haven't gotten a response yet. Mine is due up next month... from what ive read, you just have to go to the store and purchase the new roll call package, but i cant find a roll call package in the store :problem:
If this tour comes close to you and you have a pulse, a driver's license or bus pass, and a few bucks to spend, you should go...yes/no? This has amazing potential. Here's looking at you, Tampa
Dates "accidently" leaked on Dylan's website today....CONFIRMED: MMJ will be on the bill, with Wilco, and Richard Thompson...tour gets underway in Florida (West Palm Beach) on June 26 followed by a show in Tampa the next night..... Looking forward to MMJ and Wilco, Bob not so much, and with bigger venues and bands on the bill, probably shorter setlists (unfortunately)...but who cares, its MMJ!!!!

Has anything been determined as far as line-ups are concerned? I know Dylan will headline every night, but I would like to know how long a set we'll get from MMJ and Wilco. I don't really care about seeing Dylan, but MMJ and Wiclo back to back will be heaven.
The poster said something about doors opening at 4:30. Assuming bands start playing by 5:30, is it safe to assume we'll get 1.5 hour sets from MMJ and Wilco, and then Dylan starting at 9pm?
I worry about the Mansfield venue due to their shitty curfew and security presence for tailgating. But I can't pass up this show. And it's even on a Saturday.

same thoughts here... saturday in july in mansfield... hard to pass up
but, im not too interested in a greatest hits set from wilco or mmj
and i think this is a safe place to say im not sitting thru dylan circa 2013.
saw him once in 07... that was enough far past-prime dylan for me
will the venues be clearing out by the time dylan hits the stage??
i have no solid answer to your question... but your logic would make sense since it does say doors 5:30. would seem weird having Wilco as the opener to MMJ tho, no? I'm probably going to wait this one out... play it by the weather.

i'm not anticipating a greatest hits type set from wilco or mmj for these shows. I think in the spirit of touring with Dylan, who truly doesn't give a fuck what the audience wants to hear, they will spark it up a bit, and play an interesting mix of tunes. I heard something about the 3 acts mixing it up from night to night with the bands playing different time slots. nothing to verify that though, and as it seems this is more of a Dylan production, i'd be surprised if he wasn't closing out all of the shows. that said, I think mmj and wilco might take turns with the pre-Dylan slot. i'm thinking 60-90 minutes for each of them, which isn't bad. they'll probably just cut out the stage banter, wilco in particular, and play straight through with no encore breaks. which works. when wilco played forecastle last year, I was a little concerned about only a 90 minute slot, but they were more than satisfying and managed to get through quite a bit of songs. either way, this is going to be amazing.
I can sympathize with your sentiments on Dylan. he certainly isn't as exciting as seeing wilco or mmj, but he's still a legend. and his band is tight. and his last album was great. Dylan is my favorite musician of all time, but it really is hard to argue about the hit or miss nature of his live performances. if it weren't for his legacy, the old man would be the opener, and rightfully so. I almost feel bad for him that he'll have to take the stage after two of the greatest live touring acts of the past decade. but as I previously noted, the man doesn't give a fuck. and he shouldn't.

Hopefully, MMJ and Wilco will mix it up a bit to mkae up for Dylan's repeated sets. I just took a look at his most recent tour. 14 shows, and 14 exact same sets. Like you said, he could give a shit what people think. It'll be interesting to see the breakdown in crowds, and who is there for Dylan, and who is there for the openers. I think I'm going to pass on Rollcall tix here and wait and see what the sets look like. If it looks good, I'll grab a lawn seat and at least be able to see Wilco and MMJ for $40.
Just snagged seats up close for this. Anytime I can see MMJ I will take it. Plus, I only caught a little bit of Wilco about 5 years ago at a festival and was impressed. Been waiting to see them for a full set for some time now.
Would really like to catch the show, but $100 price tag for Mansfield might be out of my price range. You know you are getting kick ass sets from MMJ and Wilco, but last time I saw Dylan I wasn't overly impressed. If they did an all day affair (like old school lollapalooza tours) I would do it in a heartbeat though. I guess I have a week to change my mind though!

Planning for Mansfield, hope to get pit tix. Show starts at 5:30, so should be not super short sets for MMJ/Wilco/Dylan, if only there wasn't such a stupidly early curfew there.
Picked up tickets for myself and the wife earlier today, along with an extra for my little brother as a graduation present. We'll be going to the Cincinnati show. Should be a great summer night at Riverbend... One of my favorite places to see a show.
Looks like Bob Weir has been added to West Palm Beach, Tampa, Atlanta and Nashville.
this is actually a little disapointing. I was kind of hoping with it just being the three of them MMJ and Wilco might have a chance at having longer sets but them playing longer then an hour now is unlikely
