Incredible show. The venue was absolutely beautiful, one of the best I've ever been to.

Think this is my 8th or 9th MMJ show and I finally got my favorite song, STEAM ENGINE.

Just a great night. Ready for round 2 tonight.

Is there a Boston NYE roll call? I just got discounted ticket from Goldstar.com - $25 or $30 plus fees. Actual seat is a mystery until I pick it up, but everything is in "the bowl" at that price. I hope the extra $5 puts me out front at least, instead of side stage. Saw them open in '06 but I'm pumped for my first headlining show!

I'm so jealous of all the people going to these shows.

Anyone have album artwork for the Christmas single songs they sent out?

I think the NYE Roll Call got lost in the pages since we all bought our tix but I think this is where we stand

    Roll Call Boston NYE:

    1. twisted thoughts +1 (F3 row B)
    2. CantKeep +1 (F3 row J)
    3. Jenfarr +1 (103 Row B)
    4. mulva9 +1 (F3 row C)
    5. FenwayFaithful +
    6. RYEzupSF +

I saw that deal on Goldstar... and was kinda kicking myself for having spent full price... but at least I know where my tix are... Im not sure I like the mystery idea.

Loved the mellow start with Wonderful and Golden. The Dark blew me away last night. Librarian and PWW two of my favorites. And Dondante was just insane, must have been 20 minutes long

Wish I was going tonight, should be crazy stuff

easily the best live band besides Pearl Jam out there right now. its crazy how Jim's voice is that good. lot of great songs last night. great Rocket Man cover, half hour Dondante, black metal and a few other songs with the backing horns were awesome too. really excited to see them again at the Sandy benefit show

Dondante was freaking RIDICULOUS. I actually thought that Carl might not even grab the sax with the full horn section but it just seemed to keep going and going. Epic version.

So glad I made it to the show last night. That venue is awesome and there's not a bad seat in the house. I said it before and last night re-affirmed it for me....this tour is MMJ's Binaural tour. I went with 3 friends who really only knew a song or two and they were all blown away. They are winning tons and tons of new fans with the no repeats and energy.

Oh and plus the Lionel Richie cover got everyone moving around it was great, ha!

Saturday night was just incredible... the balcony was bouncing on the first song! The band really kept the energy at a high level compared to the first two shows, easily my favorite of the three, but I enjoyed each one for their own merits. I'm really glad I got myself that x-mas gift!

i just feel like they have too much crowd noise that drowns out jim, plus some songs dont start for like 2 minutes. its just the feedback from the amps and stuff.

went to night 1...cobra + tyrone + steam engine + everything else = amazing.

they really roll through their sets like it's nothing. love how they're doing little jams in between songs too.

really jealous of those who saw night 3!
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I think the boot sounds great..better than what I was expecting after the '11 Red Rocks which stunk. I'm pissed I missed the 23 minute Dondante version...the people we met at the bar before night 3 all said it was insane.

although it was a shorter set at the Sandy benefit show they were awesome. not as much jamming but still some great songs. awesome Hungry Heart cover. opening with Victory Dance is the coolest thing ever and One Big Holiday is the best closer on Earth. love this band.
