Ok I’m sick and tired of seeing these sympathy pieces by the mainstream media that are supposed to make us feel God damn guilty about enforcing our God damned laws. Just saw this story on CNN, complete with sad story about how their son was serving in Iraq and killed. The father is being deported and is NOT ELIGIBLE for any kind of amnesty or permanent residence - and why is that? Because he was deported in 1999 and CAME BACK AGAIN ILLEGALLY. So now we are supposed to feel sad because this guy is a repeat offender illegal alien just because his son died in Iraq? That son really belongs to US because we paid for his education, we paid for his birth, we paid for his food I am sure while growing up. That boy is not really HIS son. He raised that boy on OUR dime.
Now we are getting this sob story about breaking up his family and oh we are supposed to feel badly because he has been here since what - 1982 or something ridiculous? He STILL cannot speak English! And there is NOTHING stopping his “permanent resident” wife from going home to the motherland with him. It’s NOT OUR PROBLEM and he MUST GO. I feel zero sympathy for these people. It’s very simple. what would you like to know? also there is a big difference between being against an illegal activity and the people themselves. The distinction happens in that I don't care how many people come here. I mean it gets a little scary thinking about opening the boarders up to an endless amount of people each year, but I don't think that is a real possibility so it doesn't make sense to worry about it. what I don't like is the ignoring of the law.
It is sad any time someone dies in Iraq. I would much rather not be there. But if the kid chose to go in the army then death is a real possibility. His parents have all the right to grieve no matter where they came from or how they were here. This was posted by tonifig8 without a source. If you honestly think that what I have been saying and some others is racist like this there is never going to be a rational discussion. I wanted to get reactions from people who support the bill in AZ- and your response was informative and at least explained some common sense. Unlike godfather and aerial, who seem to always have the worst response out of all of us - he leaves me in wonder, with his comment of everyone has the right to an opinion- That is true, but he doesn't denounce this type of language - filled with hate.
As I said before, I really don't want to participate in this debate any longer. The two sides are not willing to see each others points and suggest positive solutions.
Mike... you didn't see the rational in the thread where I called you out?- I wasn't be sarcastic (sorry if it sounded that way), i was simply trying to make more logical points- The bill would cost way to much and it STILL wasn't changing anything- Just about everyone felt this bill, originally when released, would have violated the civil rights of Americans, then the cost, then the fact that police couldn't deport anyone, then the fact that the writers of the bill were tied to racist groups, the fact that the governor recently changed the bill, the fact that the governor stated that police needed to be trained, the many resources this was going to use up, the fact that; now every day people would be calling the police because they sow a brown person, etc..etc...etc...the list goes on...and on....and on....and for what? To make a statement to the Feds, as Bill O' suggested? It doesn't make any sense! It's doesn't create anything positive..
Yet you don't see all of those complications and say ,"hey repeal the bill and let's push the Federal Government to do something"- No instead you want to go back and forth and try to score points.....which is a waste of my time and your time.... The facts are out there already - there is no need for this back and forth................This is simply a bad bill - when 53% of the people who voted for it agreed that this bill would violate civil rights issues - That alone should have opened everyone's eyes!!

I am willing to see the other side, and like I said, if, in practice this law violates civil rights it will be discontinued by the court system. That simple. But ultimately there needs to be reform in the federal governments laws. I have said that many times. In fact I talked about migrant worker programs and other changes that could be made to the federal laws to make it so these type of laws are unnecessary. I am not trying to score points, just having a discussion about it. That is all. I have no problem going back and forth with people for days. Keep in mind this converstation over a beer would only take a few hours but posts limit what can be said and understood. Not everyone who wants illegal immigration to stop thinks like this. if you post something that most people agree with what is already said you won't get much response. This is abhorrent. It is disgusting language and I think it never helps in the discussion of actual reform. I hope whoever wrote it is in a different mindset today, but I doubt they are.that’s right! I will not “fucking pm” (don’t take that personal) and I will make this my final comment, unless you come back at me with some points as to why this is a good bill.
I did watch the whole segment- I didn’t post it because like on the board, there was a bunch of ranting and back & forth that really wasn’t as informative. I am not trying to ignore one side of the argument, if that was the case I wouldn’t be answering you directly. Besides Bill O’ has no respect for Juan (another debate).
Here are my points regarding the bill and AZ, also consider the affects of what I am saying- consider the underlining affects:
-It’s going to cost to much because now citizens will have to pay the cost of jailing illegal immigrants
-The Governor Stated that police would have to be trained on how to identify illegal immigrants
-The Governor didn’t even know what an illegal immigrant looked like, yet she expected law enforcement to know, when they hadn’t even been trained.
-the bill clearly stated racial profiling and that police would “stipulate not to arrest anyone only based on appearance”
-A drivers license is not a valid proof of citizenship, according to the federal government- Meaning that if you were from out of state you would have to carry a pass port or something else, to prove your citizenship
-Latinos were becoming second class citizens, who else are police suppose to target when 60% of the illegal immigrants are Mexican/ from Latin America
-The bill was introduced by people associated with white supremacist groups
-53% out of the 60% who supported this bill felt the law would violate civil rights (HELLO)
-Police were already picking up illegal immigrants and handing them over to the Feds – who was covering the cost? The Feds were now AZ is going to have to fork out a whole lot of money
-Police still wont be able to deport anyone- they still need to hand over the illegal immigrants to the FEDS- where is the solution?
-Now police are only going to question you when a traffic violation is made--- So, illegal immigrants who do not drive are safe? Huh…wait…Profile…Profile…
-Resources will be limited and demand will be hi.
-Residents are going to be calling police every time they see a brown person (suspecting an illegal immigrant-more divide)
-Residents are allowed to sue the police, if they do not see police actively hauling in illegal immigrants- which means if you are a cop and I see an illegal immigrant and you do not arrest him- I am going to sue the shit out of the department!!!!! Are you not seeing the divide there? The problems this is going to create?
-Boycott ….. Which is still dividing the country….where is the progress???
-And still many more facts and arguments that suggest this bill is bad for America
Now this has nothing to do with the actual bill but a recent poll that came out today or yesterday suggested that the majority of the people who support this bill are white people- I guess I can understand why people take this issue so personal- This affects me personally because my father and mother were once illegal immigrants and I am acting on my experiences – You or the general American are taking this personal because these people are invading your land, that you rightfully inherited from your four fathers……
Again, I support reform, but feel this is not the right way to go about it, since like many say its just AZ enforcing the Fed law- then repeal it and continue to enforce the Federal law and save AZ from all the head aches.
I support our Federal Government protecting our boarders on all fronts…. I support our Federal Government Deporting illegal immigrants on a daily bases….0 -

Ok I’m sick and tired of seeing these sympathy pieces by the mainstream media that are supposed to make us feel God damn guilty about enforcing our God damned laws. Just saw this story on CNN, complete with sad story about how their son was serving in Iraq and killed. The father is being deported and is NOT ELIGIBLE for any kind of amnesty or permanent residence - and why is that? Because he was deported in 1999 and CAME BACK AGAIN ILLEGALLY. So now we are supposed to feel sad because this guy is a repeat offender illegal alien just because his son died in Iraq? That son really belongs to US because we paid for his education, we paid for his birth, we paid for his food I am sure while growing up. That boy is not really HIS son. He raised that boy on OUR dime.
Now we are getting this sob story about breaking up his family and oh we are supposed to feel badly because he has been here since what - 1982 or something ridiculous? He STILL cannot speak English! And there is NOTHING stopping his “permanent resident” wife from going home to the motherland with him. It’s NOT OUR PROBLEM and he MUST GO. I feel zero sympathy for these people. It’s very simple. You broke the law and he repeatedly broke the law. He knew the risks when he broke the law every time. Now he is paying the price. Don’t freaking cry in MY cornflakes because his son died in Iraq. These people are without shame - using their children as anchors and pawns to stay in the country. And media like CNN play right into their hands and give them the sympathy time on the tube.
Where are the stories about AMERICANS who sacrifice much and have children who die in Iraq??? Why is CNN so bent on giving sympathy to yet another illegal alien. Attention CNN - we have no sympathy for illegal aliens. We have been taken advantage of by them for TOO LONG and we are FED UP. We don’t care if they clean our toilets or pick our vegetables. We don’t want our neighborhoods turned into BARRIOS. My town is something like 40% MEXICAN now - they are all from the same freaking TOWN even in Mexico like there is some kind of express train from Puebla, Mexico to my town. I call that an invasion and I am sick and tired of 40% of my town taking handouts and working under the table not paying taxes. If they are paying taxes they are using a stolen identity. I am sure at least 30% of that 40% are ILLEGAL ALIENS and I’m SICK AND TIRED OF THIS CRAP.
This can't be real.... right? Please tell me this is not real. :(
