Why have I not seen this thread before?
I love It. I read it when I was really young and scared the shit out of me.“ "Thank you Palestrina. It’s a wonderful evening, it’s great to be here and I wanna dedicate you a super sexy song." " (last words of Mark Sandman of Morphine)

On Writing
I'm still reading "Under the Dome" (unfortunately I'm right in the middle of, like, 10 different books) and enjoying it. I also began reading the Dark Half series earlier this year (currently reading Waste Lands) and really enjoying it. Not sure what took me so long to begin reading this series but glad that I have.We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.--Bill Hicks0 -

BELIEVE I forgot about
It!
Absolutely righteous call, my friend.
I even have the lousy,
made-for-TV miniseries starring
the likes of
John Ritter,
Harry Anderson,
that dude from the Waltons,
+ Tim Curry as Pennywise!

There's also another Dark Tower book called "The Wind through the Keyhole" coming out early next year, in March or April I think. I know they moved it up a month. It takes place between DT IV and V."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0

I pre-ordered it so I'm hoping to get it sometime this week. I'm in the middle of the PJ20 book so I won't be able to start 11/22/63 until then, I better hustle up!

Loving it. The characters are amazing and all have very interesting storylines. I can easily see this being a mini series due to the detailed storylines. I am about 1/3 of the way through it and I think only 2 days have passed in the book. It's pretty crazy. A page-turner for sure.He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Yeah it reads really fast. I remember in the author's note at the end, King said he consciously worked on keeping the pace up. It reads faster than his other books which is good because it is effing long!"We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -
My favorite is Salem's Lot, although honorable mentions go to Pet Sematery, the Shining, and the Green Mile. I still am terrified by Salem's Lot. The Stand is awesome too, but damn long.PLAY THE SOUTH0
