You're right....I knew I saw Scott Roeder and Tim McVeigh at those rallies. Damn Tea Partiers. Hang em all.
What, you act like this whole "Tea Party" thing is some new-fangled, grass-roots movement? BULLSHIT. The "Tea party" brand may be new, but it's the same old compost pile. The only difference now is that you have an easily identifiable name.
*They may have changed their name to "Altria", but they're still "Phillip Morris."*
Rock me Jesus, roll me Lord...

You guys are right. Those wacky tea partiers are just OUT OF CONTROL! I personally don't see why the government hasn't set up internment camps yet for these radical killing machines. I mean, you only have to go to the news recently to see it just chalk full of Tea Party violence right? Well, I haven't seen much so far, but I know it has to be happening. Maybe I just don't recall the incidents.
Oh that's right, now I remember. They took that poor census worker and hung him. Oh wait, no that was suicide.
Oh, yeah, I forgot, they did do over $50,000 in damage during the G20 summit in Pittsburg last year. Wait a minute...no....that was those peace loving left wing radicals.
Well, I know that it was a Tea Partier who shot and killed a number of her university co-workers recently. Oh, wait. Dammit, that was some left wing nut job that professed to be an ardent Obama supporter.
It was Tea Partiers who toppled two radio towers in Seattle late last year. Crap, good thing I just checked my facts, because that was another left-wing group.
We know that it had to be Tea Partiers who broke 11 windows out at the Colorado Democratic Headquarters last year. I'm just confused why the person who did this worked for the Democratic party going door-to-door in support of Democrat Mollie Cullom.
I'm positive that Tea Partiers were going around a while back setting SUV's on fire. Shit, nope, wasn't them. Another left wing group.
I for one am hoping they can get this tea party group under control, because who knows what they may be capable of.
Thank YOU!! Thank YOU!!

So bascially, just because a bunch of wackos and terrorists like the Red Army Faction and the MNLF committed assault, vandalism and murder people, the Teabagger movement should be absolved of all accountability.
What you have posted is a classic strawman argument. Put something up that has nothing to do with the issue at hand, then proceed to attack it.
Jesus, is it really that hard to understand? I'm trying to dumb it down as much as I can. My point is, show me where Tea Partiers have committed this violence. I can keep going with my list if you want me to. Show me where the fear is justified. If the Tea Party group starts issuing orders for it's members to attack and cause hell, then yes they have to be accountable. I haven't seen anything that comes anywhere near that. Are people pissed? Yes. Do they say stupid things? Yes. Do they go out killing and vandalizing? No. But the nutjobs will. There are fucking wacko nut jobs on every side....EVERY SIDE. Do you understand that? You guys make it sound like conservatives who supported the Tea Party movement are condoning and encouraging violence. The only violence I see so far has come from the left, and much of it self-inflicted.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at. What I am pointing out is that the rhetoric and the threats are ratcheting up higher and higher, where Congressmen are now asking for police protection. And if you don't think a gas line being cut at the home of a Congressman's brother who has 4 children under 8 isn't cause for fear, then you obviously don't have kids.
If the Tea Party group starts issuing orders for it's members to attack and cause hell, then yes they have to be accountable. I haven't seen anything that comes anywhere near that.
We've already seen a Teabagger blogger call for his followers to vandalize Democratic Congressmen's offices by breaking their windows... and even took credit for the attacks. From simply shouting down elected Representatives last summer, to telling people where a Congressman's house is and telling people to "pay him a visit". (Not that it matters that the address was actually the Congressman's brother's house, as I indicated above.)
Are people pissed? Yes. Do they say stupid things? Yes. Do they go out killing and vandalizing? No. But the nutjobs will. There are fucking wacko nut jobs on every side....EVERY SIDE. And when left wing nutjobs commit violence and ratchet up violent rhetoric against our elected Representatives, I will condemn them also. But that's not what's happening now, is it?
(BTW, you read Boehner's statement and Sarah Palin's tweet I posted earlier? They're not the only ones.)
The only violence I see so far has come from the left, and much of it self-inflicted.
Obviously your vision needs checking, as the Oklahoma CIty bombing, the worst domestic terrorist attack on this country, was committed by a right wing fanatic.
But thank you for proving my point and completely ignoring the fact that you're putting up a strawman.

i have some questions for you two if that's ok.
which of the tea parties policies best supports your view on things? are you critical of any of their policies?
who did you support prior to the tea party?
I'll start by saying I didn't support George Bush. I supported our troops, but I never supported the war effort, or his bailout of the financial industry. I don't hug the nuts of who ever is in office just because they have an R at the end of their name. I really don't care for either party. There are good people on both sides, but for the most part, both sides are nearly corrupt beyond repair.
As far as policies which the Tea Party movement supports, the biggest driving factor behind the movement was the fiscal irresponsibility of our government. That is a point that I strongly agree with and it is the foundation of the movement. People don't realize that government would actually do more for people, if it spent less and was more responsible. Just like any business, it needs to make cuts. And I'm talking all types of spending cuts....even cuts in defense spending. Spending less, means a smaller tax burden on everyone, and more revenue that can be put into better social programs (yes I'm a bit of a socialist). Even though only 33% of the population pays 100% of the income tax, what's left of the middle class and the poor are still taxed at insane rates through other avenues. It's the wastefulness that I think people are growing tired of.
One of the policies I don't agree with, is how they have let some Republicans latch onto the movement. I personally wouldn't let any of them speak at a Rally.

As far as policies which the Tea Party movement supports, the biggest driving factor behind the movement was the fiscal irresponsibility of our government.
The fiscal irresponsibility had been going on for 8 years under the Bush Administration, and yet they only decided to show up when a Democrat - a black man - is elected President. Couple that with all the racist language and imagery, I'm seriously doubting that fiscal responsibility is the primary thrust of the movement.
One of the policies I don't agree with, is how they have let some Republicans latch onto the movement. I personally wouldn't let any of them speak at a Rally.
And yet not only have a lot of people and organizations with known Republican ties latched onto the movement, the movement itself is 74% pro-Republican or lean Republican.
I'm not convinced that the movement is as independent as some people make them appear to be.

A leaking propane tank is a joke? When there's a possibility of fire or explosion? Not to mention the implied threat in that act?
Would you take it as a joke if a bunch of liberals went to your house did that to you on the mistaken belief that you're a Republican Congressperson? Especially if there's little children in your house?

Richmond PD on Cantor office shooting

As we mentioned earlier today, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor told reporters that a "bullet was shot through my campaign office in Richmond this week."
The Richmond Police Department just released a statement on the shooting. The skinny, per a preliminary investigation: A gun was fired into air; a bullet struck window in down direction; it broke a windowpane but did not cause any additional damage.

I agree with that. It went on well before Bush, all the way back to Reagan. Where it got dicey, even when Bush was in office, is when you start bailing out industries that made stupid mistakes with tax payer dollars. That's when people got pissed. I'm sure these folks were there chanting out racial slurs and coming down on the black man:
There's literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds more just like these, but I got tired of copying and pasting the links. Look out for that old lady wearing pink. She looks like trouble.

Uh...yeah, it's a conservative movement. Last I checked, most registered Republicans are not Liberal Democrats.

Interesting choice, considering that the bullet that hit Cantor's office was not directed at him, but randomly fired: In a news release, Richmond police said that the bullet had been fired into the air early Tuesday. It hit the front window of a building that houses Cantor’s campaign office as it fell to back earth at a sharp angle.

I have never heard Reagan mentioned by anyone.....anyone I have ever had a conversation with that has mentioned Bush it was never a positive comment...as we all agree he was corrupt also

I'll let you in on a little secret.... I'm a registered Republican.
Nothing to be proud of there.
Years ago the Republican Party used to be populated by all sorts of people from the hardcore conservatives like Barry Goldwater to moderates like Dwight D. Eisenhower to outright liberals even, like Charles Mathias and Ed Brooke.
We need a strong, vibrant, reasoned, and smart Republican Party to serve as the loyal opposition when they're not in power, and a sensible force when they are.
It's really sad the way they've been taken over by the extreme right wing of their movement.

One of the policies I don't agree with, is how they have let some Republicans latch onto the movement. I personally wouldn't let any of them speak at a Rally.
I guess I should have been more specific, because I know it's hard for you to keep up. I was referring to Politicians. I don't agree with Republican politicians latching onto the movement in order to milk the support of Tea Party supporters.
when the leaders of this gov, Obama ,Pelosi, and others use Marxist class warfare prpoghanda to stir up and encite anger and jelousy against certain citizens. Whom is provoking whom ?
When they brazenly and openly use our hard earned tax dollars pay off and buy off each other and we sit here as american citizens and witness what is stealing and theft right in front of us. Who is provoking whom.
The truth is there has been no violence from the any of the tea parties or any of the town hall folks unless you forgot about the guy that had his finger bitten off by an Obama supporter or the black Tea partier who was ruffed up by the SEIU THUGS because he was handing out don't tread on me Flags.
But given the fact what these politicians have done to the american people the last 16 months with their smears and languge they have used . The american people have beeen very forgiving and Tolerant I would have to say.
But given the fact what these politicians have done to the american people the last 16 months
Except you yahoo's don't represent the American people. You represent a small, indoctrinated bunch of flag waving couch potatoes. America, along with the majority of Americans, is evolving.
And you've chosen to remain on the island, watching the boat sail away over the horizon, followed by the sound of jeers, insults, banjo's, and the clanging of pitchforks.

John McCain is one of the main reasons why the GOP is a shell of its former self. No room for RINO's, vote them out. He is playing the game now because it is an election year.
