Not taking up for the koran, I am equally ambivalent to christians and muslims. I believe both the bible and the koran to be guidelines and sometimes not very good ones at that.

I have been to an actual "gun party" in Wyoming recently (don't ask) where a bunch of good ol' boy "patriots" had every imaginable firearm, including some homemade/modified shit that was scary, and it was "assassinate the nigger this and lynch the nigger that. People assume I'm down with that sort of shit because of my shaved head, camo wearing, militant appearance, so these people are eager to share their ugly little racist hearts with me. And I let them. Believe it or not, that could be a genuine anti-tank rifle. These things were used by militaries in the 1930s and 1940s as portable armor-piecing weapons, before bazookas and anti-tank missiles were invented.

One small difference that allows the AR-15 to be legal - it's semi auto. But from what I'm told it's not very difficult to convert to fully auto.

But to be real, it's not as if all tea baggers are gun lovin', god fearin', negro hatin' rednecks. Just Palin and her supporters.
