I just got Hartford Hilton for $65 on Priceline!!!

I was just on Priceline, and i can't figure out how you put bids in. Can anyone give me directions how? I'd like to stay over, but NOT for OVER $200. I'll drove the 4 hours back home, before i spend that much.

    start here for a tutorial:

be sure to select the Downtown Hartford zone when you make your attempt.

Thanks alot, i appreciate it. I tired it, but i can't figure out how to bid on the HILTON. Will selecting the Downtown Hartford Zone get me the Hilton? Thanks again.........CUTZ

Just put down $75 for 3.5 star in Cleveland on Priceline and got Doubletree Cleveland Downtown / Lakeside. I'm assuming you can get it for less...

You can't select a specific property using the "name your own price" feature on Priceline. That is your downside (along with having your credit card charged immediately). But, based on recent accepted bids for 3-star hotels in downtown Hartford, you will most likely get the Hilton with a similar bid.

I got the Hilton Garden Inn in Cleveland on my third bid on priceline $75. I just got Adam's Mark for a bid of $65 on my first try, so you could start lower in Buffalo. My passport came in yesterday as well, everything is in place for my first Pearl Jam shows outside Canada.

Anybody get any good stuff for the Garden shows?

I just picked up an $89 room at the Jane. Looks like a fancy version of a hostel. Nice thing was the 2 miles from the Garden.

    tagging for later
  • I got two nights at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch for the St. Louis show for $55 a night through Priceline name your own price. Down side is paid parking, but I think we will just park it at the cheap no in/out for the first night we get into town (on Mon.) and just do stuff close to the hotel in order to save money. I checked Trip Adviser and the hotel seems to have mostly good reviews since it has been remodeled and became a Hyatt. Anyway, that's where we will be!

I cancelled my Hilton Garden Inn in Cleveland after snagging the Ten Club's group rate at the Radisson! $59 is awesome (1/2 their regular price)!
